A God of Signs*

If God is a God of signs as in ancient times
(remember:
▪ Creation-Day Four1
▪ Noah and the rainbow2
▪ Moses and Pharaoh3
▪ Isaiah4
▪ Ezekiel5
▪ Elijah6
▪ king Nebuchadnezzar7
▪ king Darius8
▪ Samuel the Lamanite9?
just to name a few);
and if He is the same God then, now, and forever, what signs might we be missing?

Could synchronicities and date parallels (historical Chiasmus?) be amongst those things?

Could the fallen trumpet of March 18, 2020 have been a sign10? or the deconstruction of the most recognizable symbol of the Restoration11? or the wearing of masks? and so forth

And though God said:
13 ... ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
(New Testament | Matthew 25:13)
He also said:
45 And the day cometh that you shall hear my voice and see me, and know that I am.
46 Watch, therefore, that ye may be ready. Even so. Amen.
(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 50:45-46)
In recent years, have we been cognizant of how often God is a God of signs for those who are watching? Can we admit how far many nations and peoples have turned away from God's word — especially the purported head of the nations? What would a review of the blessings and curses of Deuteronomy 2812 reveal in addition to this:
45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. (Old Testament | Deuteronomy 28:45-46)

14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

4 Therefore, there shall be one day and a night and a day, as if it were one day and there were no night; and this shall be unto you for a sign; for ye shall know of the rising of the sun and also of its setting; therefore they shall know of a surety that there shall be two days and a night; nevertheless the night shall not be darkened; and it shall be the night before he is born.
5 And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you.

A few more warnings:

38 ¶ Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
New Testament | Mark 8:11-12
11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.
12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

New Testament | Acts 2:19 - 22
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 26:3, 8
3 And after the Messiah shall come there shall be signs given unto my people of his birth, and also of his death and resurrection; and great and terrible shall that day be unto the wicked, for they shall perish; and they perish because they cast out the prophets, and the saints, and stone them, and slay them; wherefore the cry of the blood of the saints shall ascend up to God from the ground against them. ...
8 But behold, the righteous that hearken unto the words of the prophets, and destroy them not, but look forward unto Christ with steadfastness for the signs which are given, notwithstanding all persecution—behold, they are they which shall not perish.
