Getting a Grip on History?

53 And, verily I say unto you, that it is my will that you should ... obtain a knowledge of history, and of countries, and of kingdoms, of laws of God and man, and all this for the salvation of Zion. (Doctrine and Covenants 93:53).
But how do we get a grip on history "for the salvation of Zion" when we have statements like these?
William "Bill" Casey (CIA Director 1981-1987)
"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false."1

Mike Pompeo (CIA Director 2017-2018, Secretary of State 2018-2021)
"We lied, we cheated, we stole ..."2
The Doctrine and Covenants counsels three times to "seek learning even by study and also by faith" from the best books,3 but where can we find the best books on history when deception has become so normalized? And why study history anyway? Because history is a repeating deja vu? Because history teaches pattern recognition? Because history exposes the ubiquity of deception and secrecy? Because lamentation4 in our day is as needed and justified as in the days of Noah, Moses, Ether, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Nephi, AlmaX2, Mormon, Moroni, et al. al. al.?

In my experience, one of the best resources for the exposure of deception and secrecy is The Duke Report.com and his substack. Duke's recent inaugural series called "The Explainer"5 presents dozens of book summaries that seek to expose "what really happened" and to encourage further study with critical thinking. His introductory vlog explaining the series and his use of AI can be found here.6 The topics are eclectic, but here is a representative sample of five:

We probably won't ever get a grip on history until we admit our susceptibility to believing "colossal untruths" cooked up by those "who conspire together in the art of lying,"7 but there is hope. Many people are awakening to how colossal and "grossly impudent" lies can be.

Hitler: "[T]he broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying."

Patterns and Pathologies*

Do we have a sufficient knowledge of history, countries, and kingdoms1 in order to discern the repeating patterns and pathologies of the thief who, in every age, “cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy”2?

How many unread exposés do we have on library shelves or e-readers that unmask the thief and his servitors? How many truths cast into the black hole of “conspiracy theory”? How many ubiquitous nefarious distractions so we do not awaken, as commanded, to those patterns and pathologies?
24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things [murderous combinations] come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up (Book of Mormon | Ether 8:24).
As it presently stands, with each new exposé, we have (as the conspirators allege) “a tale told by an idiot, signifying nothing of import”; but what if we linked ten exposés together? or one-hundred? or more? Do we know where to find them, scattered, as they are, over time and space? Do we have the time to digest them even if we could gather them?

Well, maybe there is a space. Maybe many single exposés are already woven into a phalanx of exposés. Maybe even time and space have already been distilled for rapid access. Maybe this place is
The Duke Report.
Peter Duke is not part of our faith community, but his life experiences have prepared him to see and hear the agendas and patterns in history that so many do not see or refuse to see; and with his other gifts, he has created an exceptional site of exposure and insight condensed for maximum accessibility. One does not need to agree with everything another believes or shares, but single threads of exposure and truth can weave into powerful cables; and since it appears now (to many watchers) that the Constitution is almost hanging by a (disputed3) thread, maybe we would be well advised to know and help unify the many threads of truth about the thief and his servitors.

As always, we seek to use discernment and critical thinking as Paul advises:
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
      (New Testament | 1 Thessalonians 5:21)
And may we earnestly seek to get past any biases and hard priors4 that deny the reality and prevalence of the natural man.5

4. The science writer Sharon Begley gives insight into such motivated reasoning: “If you have a strongly held belief with an emotional component, the brain defends information that reinforces those ‘priors’ and is skeptical of information that challenges them. … People who hold these hard priors filter information to support their perceptions.” (Bold emphasis mine.)
These observations are from the work of political scientist Hank Jenkins-Smith of the University of Oklahoma as quoted, in Newsweek, October 13, 2010, pp. 29-30 by science writer Sharon Begley about voter tendencies—observations that seem applicable to almost everything that requires choice or discernment. We all do it, (even this writer) and without awareness of a “priors” bias, are we not all more prone to biased judgment—whether pro or con? Shouldn’t 360° honesty in dealing with all the facts help control that bias?

Classic Case: Stealth Power - 72 B.C.

A few days after posting In Their Own Words? What Should WE Make of “Stealth Power”?1 I re-read Book of Mormon | Alma 46-51, where the pattern of stealth power was in progress in the ancient Americas circa 72 B.C. This was not the first or last case of stealth power in the Book of Mormon, but in these five Alma chapters, there are many parallels to the twenty-four Stealth  principles as if wannabe-king Amalickiah had a pre-A.D. Stealth handbook.

The account is reproduced below with motive and stealth tactics in bold:
Alma 46
4 And Amalickiah was desirous to be a king; and those people who were wroth were also desirous that he should be their king; and they were the greater part of them the lower judges of the land, and they were seeking for power.
5 And they had been led by the flatteries of Amalickiah, that if they would support him and establish him to be their king that he would make them rulers over the people.
6 Thus they were led away by Amalickiah to dissensions, notwithstanding the preaching of Helaman and his brethren, yea, notwithstanding their exceedingly great care over the church, for they were high priests over the church.
7 And there were many in the church who believed in the flattering words of Amalickiah, therefore they dissented even from the church; and thus were the affairs of the people of Nephi exceedingly precarious and dangerous, notwithstanding their great victory which they had had over the Lamanites, and their great rejoicings which they had had because of their deliverance by the hand of the Lord.
8 Thus we see how quick the children of men do forget the Lord their God, yea, how quick to do iniquity, and to be led away by the evil one.
9 Yea, and we also see the great wickedness one very wicked man can cause to take place among the children of men.
10 Yea, we see that Amalickiah, because he was a man of cunning device and a man of many flattering words, that he led away the hearts of many people to do wickedly; yea, and to seek to destroy the church of God, and to destroy the foundation of liberty which God had granted unto them, or which blessing God had sent upon the face of the land for the righteous' sake (Book of Mormon | Alma 46:4–10).

29 And it came to pass that when Amalickiah saw that the people of Moroni were more numerous than the Amalickiahites—and he also saw that his people were doubtful concerning the justice of the cause in which they had undertaken—therefore, fearing that he should not gain the point, he took those of his people who would and departed into the land of Nephi (Book of Mormon | Alma 46:29).

Alma 47
1 NOW we will return in our record to Amalickiah and those who had fled with him into the wilderness; for, behold, he had taken those who went with him, and went up in the land of Nephi among the Lamanites, and did stir up the Lamanites to anger against the people of Nephi, insomuch that the king of the Lamanites sent a proclamation throughout all his land, among all his people, that they should gather themselves together again to go to battle against the Nephites.
2 And it came to pass that when the proclamation had gone forth among them they were exceedingly afraid; yea, they feared to displease the king, and they also feared to go to battle against the Nephites lest they should lose their lives. And it came to pass that they would not, or the more part of them would not, obey the commandments of the king.
3 And now it came to pass that the king was wroth because of their disobedience; therefore he gave Amalickiah the command of that part of his army which was obedient unto his commands, and commanded him that he should go forth and compel them to arms.
4 Now behold, this was the desire of Amalickiah; for he being a very subtle man to do evil therefore he laid the plan in his heart to dethrone the king of the Lamanites.
5 And now he had got the command of those parts of the Lamanites who were in favor of the king; and he sought to gain favor of those who were not obedient; therefore he went forward to the place which was called Onidah, for thither had all the Lamanites fled; for they discovered the army coming, and, supposing that they were coming to destroy them, therefore they fled to Onidah, to the place of arms.
6 And they had appointed a man to be a king and a leader over them, being fixed in their minds with a determined resolution that they would not be subjected to go against the Nephites.
7 And it came to pass that they had gathered themselves together upon the top of the mount which was called Antipas, in preparation to battle.
8 Now it was not Amalickiah's intention to give them battle according to the commandments of the king; but behold, it was his intention to gain favor with the armies of the Lamanites, that he might place himself at their head and dethrone the king and take possession of the kingdom.
9 And behold, it came to pass that he caused his army to pitch their tents in the valley which was near the mount Antipas.
10 And it came to pass that when it was night he sent a secret embassy into the mount Antipas, desiring that the leader of those who were upon the mount, whose name was Lehonti, that he should come down to the foot of the mount, for he desired to speak with him.
11 And it came to pass that when Lehonti received the message he durst not go down to the foot of the mount. And it came to pass that Amalickiah sent again the second time, desiring him to come down. And it came to pass that Lehonti would not; and he sent again the third time.
12 And it came to pass that when Amalickiah found that he could not get Lehonti to come down off from the mount, he went up into the mount, nearly to Lehonti's camp; and he sent again the fourth time his message unto Lehonti, desiring that he would come down, and that he would bring his guards with him.
13 And it came to pass that when Lehonti had come down with his guards to Amalickiah, that Amalickiah desired him to come down with his army in the night–time, and surround those men in their camps over whom the king had given him command, and that he would deliver them up into Lehonti's hands, if he would make him (Amalickiah) a second leader over the whole army.
14 And it came to pass that Lehonti came down with his men and surrounded the men of Amalickiah, so that before they awoke at the dawn of day they were surrounded by the armies of Lehonti.
15 And it came to pass that when they saw that they were surrounded, they plead with Amalickiah that he would suffer them to fall in with their brethren, that they might not be destroyed. Now this was the very thing which Amalickiah desired.
16 And it came to pass that he delivered his men, contrary to the commands of the king. Now this was the thing that Amalickiah desired, that he might accomplish his designs in dethroning the king.
17 Now it was the custom among the Lamanites, if their chief leader was killed, to appoint the second leader to be their chief leader.
18 And it came to pass that Amalickiah caused that one of his servants should administer poison by degrees to Lehonti, that he died.
19 Now, when Lehonti was dead, the Lamanites appointed Amalickiah to be their leader and their chief commander.
20 And it came to pass that Amalickiah marched with his armies (for he had gained his desires) to the land of Nephi, to the city of Nephi, which was the chief city.
21 And the king came out to meet him with his guards, for he supposed that Amalickiah had fulfilled his commands, and that Amalickiah had gathered together so great an army to go against the Nephites to battle.
22 But behold, as the king came out to meet him Amalickiah caused that his servants should go forth to meet the king. And they went and bowed themselves before the king, as if to reverence him because of his greatness.
23 And it came to pass that the king put forth his hand to raise them, as was the custom with the Lamanites, as a token of peace, which custom they had taken from the Nephites.
24 And it came to pass that when he had raised the first from the ground, behold he stabbed the king to the heart; and he fell to the earth.
25 Now the servants of the king fled; and the servants of Amalickiah raised a cry, saying:
26 Behold, the servants of the king have stabbed him to the heart
, and he has fallen and they have fled; behold, come and see.
27 And it came to pass that Amalickiah commanded that his armies should march forth and see what had happened to the king; and when they had come to the spot, and found the king lying in his gore, Amalickiah pretended to be wroth, and said: Whosoever loved the king, let him go forth, and pursue his servants that they may be slain.
28 And it came to pass that all they who loved the king, when they heard these words, came forth and pursued after the servants of the king.
29 Now when the servants of the king saw an army pursuing after them, they were frightened again, and fled into the wilderness, and came over into the land of Zarahemla and joined the people of Ammon.
30 And the army which pursued after them returned, having pursued after them in vain; and thus Amalickiah, by his fraud, gained the hearts of the people.
31 And it came to pass on the morrow he entered the city Nephi with his armies, and took possession of the city.
32 And now it came to pass that the queen, when she had heard that the king was slain—for Amalickiah had sent an embassy to the queen informing her that the king had been slain by his servants, that he had pursued them with his army, but it was in vain, and they had made their escape—
33 Therefore, when the queen had received this message she sent unto Amalickiah, desiring him that he would spare the people of the city; and she also desired him that he should come in unto her; and she also desired him that he should bring witnesses with him to testify concerning the death of the king.
34 And it came to pass that Amalickiah took the same servant that slew the king, and all them who were with him, and went in unto the queen, unto the place where she sat; and they all testified unto her that the king was slain by his own servants; and they said also: They have fled; does not this testify against them? And thus they satisfied the queen concerning the death of the king.
35 And it came to pass that Amalickiah sought the favor of the queen, and took her unto him to wife; and thus by his fraud, and by the assistance of his cunning servants, he obtained the kingdom; yea, he was acknowledged king throughout all the land, among all the people of the Lamanites, who were composed of the Lamanites and the Lemuelites and the Ishmaelites, and all the dissenters of the Nephites, from the reign of Nephi down to the present time.
36 Now these dissenters, having the same instruction and the same information of the Nephites, yea, having been instructed in the same knowledge of the Lord, nevertheless, it is strange to relate, not long after their dissensions they became more hardened and impenitent, and more wild, wicked and ferocious than the Lamanites—drinking in with the traditions of the Lamanites; giving way to indolence, and all manner of lasciviousness; yea, entirely forgetting the Lord their God (Book of Mormon | Alma 47:1–36).

Alma 48
1 AND now it came to pass that, as soon as Amalickiah had obtained the kingdom he began to inspire the hearts of the Lamanites against the people of Nephi; yea, he did appoint men to speak unto the Lamanites from their towers, against the Nephites.
2 And thus he did inspire their hearts against the Nephites, insomuch that in the latter end of the nineteenth year of the reign of the judges, he having accomplished his designs thus far, yea, having been made king over the Lamanites, he sought also to reign over all the land, yea, and all the people who were in the land, the Nephites as well as the Lamanites.
3 Therefore he had accomplished his design, for he had hardened the hearts of the Lamanites and blinded their minds, and stirred them up to anger, insomuch that he had gathered together a numerous host to go to battle against the Nephites.
4 For he was determined, because of the greatness of the number of his people, to overpower the Nephites and to bring them into bondage.
5 And thus he did appoint chief captains of the Zoramites, they being the most acquainted with the strength of the Nephites, and their places of resort, and the weakest parts of their cities; therefore he appointed them to be chief captains over his armies.
6 And it came to pass that they took their camp, and moved forth toward the land of Zarahemla in the wilderness.
7 Now it came to pass that while Amalickiah had thus been obtaining power by fraud and deceit, Moroni, on the other hand, had been preparing the minds of the people to be faithful unto the Lord their God (Book of Mormon | Alma 48:1–7).

Alma 49
10 Now, if king Amalickiah had come down out of the land of Nephi, at the head of his army, perhaps he would have caused the Lamanites to have attacked the Nephites at the city of Ammonihah; for behold, he did care not for the blood of his people.
11 But behold, Amalickiah did not come down himself to battle. And behold, his chief captains durst not attack the Nephites at the city of Ammonihah, for Moroni had altered the management of affairs among the Nephites, insomuch that the Lamanites were disappointed in their places of retreat and they could not come upon them.
12 Therefore they retreated into the wilderness, and took their camp and marched towards the land of Noah, supposing that to be the next best place for them to come against the Nephites (Book of Mormon | Alma 49:10-12).

25 And it came to pass, that when the Lamanites saw that their chief captains were all slain they fled into the wilderness. And it came to pass that they returned to the land of Nephi, to inform their king, Amalickiah, who was a Nephite by birth, concerning their great loss.
26 And it came to pass that he was exceedingly angry with his people, because he had not obtained his desire over the Nephites; he had not subjected them to the yoke of bondage.
27 Yea, he was exceedingly wroth, and he did curse God, and also Moroni, swearing with an oath that he would drink his blood; and this because Moroni had kept the commandments of God in preparing for the safety of his people (Book of Mormon | Alma 49:25-27).

Alma 51
8 Now those who were in favor of kings were those of high birth, and they sought to be kings; and they were supported by those who sought power and authority over the people.
9 But behold, this was a critical time for such contentions to be among the people of Nephi; for behold, Amalickiah had again stirred up the hearts of the people of the Lamanites against the people of the Nephites, and he was gathering together soldiers from all parts of his land, and arming them, and preparing for war with all diligence; for he had sworn to drink the blood of Moroni.
10 But behold, we shall see that his promise which he made was rash; nevertheless, he did prepare himself and his armies to come to battle against the Nephites.
11 Now his armies were not so great as they had hitherto been, because of the many thousands who had been slain by the hand of the Nephites; but notwithstanding their great loss, Amalickiah had gathered together a wonderfully great army, insomuch that he feared not to come down to the land of Zarahemla.
12 Yea, even Amalickiah did himself come down, at the head of the Lamanites. And it was in the twenty and fifth year of the reign of the judges; and it was at the same time that they had begun to settle the affairs of their contentions concerning the chief judge, Pahoran (Book of Mormon | Alma 51:8-12).

To shorten the account, internal dissensions amongst the Nephites allowed Amalickiah to invade and capture several fortified cities in Nephite lands as “they marched to the borders of the land Bountiful, driving the Nephites before them and slaying many” (Book of Mormon | Alma 51:28). However the Nephite armies rallied and Amalickiah’s forces were “repulsed by [chief captain] Teancum and his men, for they were great warriors; for every man of Teancum did exceed the Lamanites in their strength and in their skill of war, insomuch that they did gain advantage over the Lamanites.” And in Amalickiah’s exhausted state:
“Teancum and his servant stole forth and went out by night, and went into the camp of Amalickiah; ... into the tent of the king, and put a javelin to his heart; and ... did cause the death of the king immediately that he did not awake his servants. And [Teancum] returned again privily to his own camp, ... and awoke [his men] [to] stand in readiness, ... And thus endeth the twenty and fifth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi; and thus endeth the days of Amalickiah (Book of Mormon | Alma 51:31-37)
This did not end the conflict for Amalickiah had a brother with the same passion for power and domination, but that is another story amongst ten-thousand others worldwide of stealth, cunning, and hubris. As readers of the perennial lamentations found in scripture about the waywardness and iniquity of mankind, should we not be far more alert to the déjà vu on déjà vu pattern of stealth power?

In Their Own Words? What Should WE Make of “Stealth Power”?

Since WE-the-People-of-the-Books,1 don’t seem to have garnered much from our own Books about the repeating pattern and agendas of corrupted power, perhaps we can learn from a recent publication titled “Stealth Power ...”.2 The author / editor, Peter Duke,3 took an anti-Semitic (fiction+fact?4) book, stripped out its racist, cultural elements to expose the pattern that under girds (in my opinion and study) every conspiracy-for-world-control, no matter the nation, kindred, tongue, time, or people. But before studying the universal pattern, let us consider why this pattern was wrapped in a heavy fog of Semitic attribution. This is my understanding / theory:
1. The pattern has a name: bondage — a name found nearly two hundred times in our Books.5 The pattern has an author: Satan, and a plan falsely crafted to “redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost”:
1 AND I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.
2 But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever.
3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice (Pearl of Great Price | Moses 4:1-4).
The plan, still unfolding, is to “destroy the agency of man” which means that where there is no agency, there is bondage, captivity, servitude, serfdom to an omnipotent figure, who claims to be devoted (in deluded theory) to peace, order, love, happiness, and good government.6

2. The wannabe-omnipotent figure Satan and his servitors are all psychopathic, misanthropic — but above even hatred of mankind, Satan hates, hates, hates Christ and those of the tribe of Christ, being tribe Judah, fourth son of Jacob / Israel. And YES, like every other tribe and people, there are Judahites amongst the numerous wicked of the world — just compare their kings with the “gentile” kings of history. Most of the power-elite worldwide (Jew and Gentile, past and present) are cut from the same cloth of the natural, self-serving, fallen man,7 but because of the lineage of Christ, tribe Judah has been especially targeted for enduring blame and destruction by the envious, bitter, vengeful god of this world.8
3. So (as Satan orchestrates) why not kill many birds with several strategic stones:
i) infiltrate the hated tribe with compliant corruptors and provocateurs who say they are Jews and are not9;
ii) concentrate and generalize all blame onto the entire hated tribe, even though many of that tribe reject and protest all forms of power-abuse10;
iii) satisfy the intense craving for braggadocio and mockery by revealing (with plausible deniability) the brilliance and stealth of the rejected “son” by fictionalizing his stealth;
iv) trigger [the satanic myth of] karmic shift11 when the deplorables worldwide do not see or hear what is plainly before their eyes and ears; and
v) provoke all sides to resist evil with evil. Divide and control. Divide, destroy, and control.
4. Humans, not obsessed with power, gain, glory and domination, often resist seeing the depth of evil to which power-fanatical, cult-prone men and women can descend; and even resist acknowledging the divided nature and potential for evil in their own being.12 Yet, at the same time, we humans are highly susceptible to propaganda, false flags, manufactured blame, confirmation bias, etc., etc. It’s all part of the natural man syndrome.
So what might we learn from Stealth Power? Duke profiles 24 principles that appear to be “in their own words” — not some exposé describing what the power-elite do, but statements in their own words of how they see themselves and what they have been and are doing to achieve global domination. Whether the original book began as a destructive lie or as a twining of fact and fiction for nefarious purposes, its bones stripped bare tell the story of every Global Order Gang (GOG13) since Cain who entered into a conspiracy with Satan for the sake of power, gain, glory, and domination.14

As Duke suggests, compare the 24 stealth principles to the history and headlines of the past two centuries from around the world and decide: 1) are these principles now in full play? 2) will I allow myself to see and hear? 3) what will I do to expose and resist them?

14. Doctrine and Covenants | Section 84:16
16 And from Enoch to Abel, who was slain by the conspiracy of his brother, who received the priesthood by the commandments of God, by the hand of his father Adam, who was the first man—
Book of Mormon | Ether 8:15-26
15 And it came to pass that thus they did agree with Akish. And Akish did administer unto them the oaths which were given by them of old who also sought power, which had been handed down even from Cain, who was a murderer from the beginning.
16 And they were kept up by the power of the devil to administer these oaths unto the people, to keep them in darkness, to help such as sought power to gain power, and to murder, and to plunder, and to lie, and to commit all manner of wickedness and whoredoms.
17 And it was the daughter of Jared who put it into his heart to search up these things of old; and Jared put it into the heart of Akish; wherefore, Akish administered it unto his kindred and friends, leading them away by fair promises to do whatsoever thing he desired.
   18 And it came to pass that they formed a secret combination, even as they of old; which combination is most abominable and wicked above all, in the sight of God;
19 For the Lord worketh not in secret combinations, neither doth he will that man should shed blood, but in all things hath forbidden it, from the beginning of man.
20 And now I, Moroni, do not write the manner of their oaths and combinations, for it hath been made known unto me that they are had among all people, and they are had among the Lamanites.
21 And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.
22 And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed; for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them and yet he avenge them not.
23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.
24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.
25 For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents, yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.
26 Wherefore, I, Moroni, am commanded to write these things that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men, but that they may be persuaded to do good continually, that they may come unto the fountain of all righteousness and be saved.

Let Us Be Clear!

(Discerning “woke” and “new woke”)

It is time we cleared up the morass surrounding co-opted, corrupted “woke.” To say we are done-with-woke or that we are anti-woke is to confuse and conflate history with today's histrionics. “Stay woke” was and is African-American Vernacular English beginning in the 1930s (perhaps in use as early as the 1860s)1 to raise awareness of pervasive discrimination and injustice against African-Americans and to break out of those unwarranted prejudices and exclusions. Thus, to say we are anti-woke is to appear to disdain or regret all the advances of the past century. No, we are not anti-woke or done-with-woke because increasing awareness and truth are what keeps us moving forward in honoring and preserving fundamental rights and protections for every living soul. Those fundamental rights and protections are the Right to:
▪ self-determination,
▪ liberty,
▪ due process of law,
▪ freedom of movement,
▪ privacy,
▪ freedom of thought,
▪ freedom of religion,
▪ freedom of expression,
▪ peaceful assembly,
▪ freedom of association.2
The original Woke was in pursuit of these Rights and Truths — the Truth that all men, women, and children are children of God and are entitled to equal Rights and Protections according to just and holy principles.3

BUT the present, appropriated, (“new”) woke (nwoke) manifests the very opposite of the original woke. Nwoke is about aggressively negating those Rights and Protections for everyone (regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, politics, status, success, etc.) who does not affirm the various nwoke narratives of critical race theory, victimization, entitlement, spectrumized sexual orientation, etc. Nwoke is anti-woke. It is regressive in the extreme. In speech and action, nwoke opposes the universality of Rights and Protections. Nwoke vociferously proclaims adherence to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI-ology4), but in hypocritical speech and action (public posts, vlogs, gatherings, protests, counter-protests, profane tirades, etc.), adherents deny diversity, equity, inclusion and rights for all but affirmers of their narratives. Nwoke, calling itself woke, excludes, disqualifies, mocks, targets, censors, and maligns the “non-nwoke” of every stripe.

There are tens of thousands of thoughtful observers, left, center, and right, who reject nwoke dogma — who see clearly that the tyrannical demands for special entitlement, advantage, recognition, privilege, accommodation, and affirmation based in alleged life-experience and feelings have corrupted Truth and reality. But, at the same time, there are tens of thousands of left, center, and right nwoke believers who have bought into the pretended DEI-ology — the propaganda of the Lie.

The tragedy is that DSM-V-documented maladies are being celebrated and normalized, mostly by self-obsessed diva / divo (SOD) activists, along with their captured hosts and corporate sponsors. Some gender dysphorics who wish to quietly and privately transition or de-transition (pursuing their right to self-determination and self-expression) and who have no interest in compelling public display and affirmation of their life-choices are appalled by the tyranny and escalating violence and violent rhetoric  of the SOD activists. The activists continually allege instances of hate and violence directed against themselves (and there may be some pushback in reaction to SOD tyranny), but, as others have noted, what activists call "hate speech" is any speech that they hate. And if we were awake to the depth of evil and the science of domination, we would know that infiltrators and provocateurs will do whatever exacerbates division, violence, and fear on every side. That is the way of the destroyer.

Let us also be clear: there are dysphorics who deserve compassion as they struggle with self-identity and self-understanding, but there is also an agenda of destruction that has been in play since creation5 — an agenda that seeks to turn everything upside down6 and inside out; that calls evil good and good evil.7 And in this year 2023, we are in the very midst of this inversion. Some day the experiments, poisons, pscience, propaganda, and politics that have driven this social, mental, and emotional contagion and spiritual catastrophe will be exposed.8

And if we think gender chaos is a new thing in these last days, it is not.9 Androgyny10 (and its cousins) have always been an obsession of the adversary through all ages of time. Considering the forever recycling depravities in history, Satan manifests as a self- and sex-obsessed entity. Why would he change his modus operandi of destruction at this late stage, when it has worked so well for millennia? In partial quote of Shakespeare:
There are more things in [hell] and earth, ...,
Than are dreamt of in [our] philosophy.

Shakespeare: Hamlet: Prince of Denmark (1.5.167-8)11
And so, in this age of lying wonders, 2023 repeats the corruptions of 23 B.C.
4 And seeing the people in a state of such awful wickedness, and those Gadianton robbers filling the judgment–seats—having usurped the power and authority of the land; laying aside the commandments of God, and not in the least aright before him; doing no justice unto the children of men;
5 Condemning the righteous because of their righteousness; letting the guilty and the wicked go unpunished because of their money; and moreover to be held in office at the head of government, to rule and do according to their wills, that they might get gain and glory of the world, and, moreover, that they might the more easily commit adultery, and steal, and kill, and do according to their own wills—
6 Now this great iniquity had come upon the [people], in the space of not many years (Book of Mormon | Helaman 7:4-6).

“Woke (/ˈwoʊk/ WOHK) is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". ...
“The phrase stay woke has history in AAVE as far back as the 1930s, in some contexts referring to an awareness of the social and political issues affecting African Americans. The phrase was uttered in lyrics of recordings by Lead Belly in mid 20th century and post-millennium by Erykah Badu.
“Origins and usage
“In some varieties of African-American English, woke is used in place of woken, the usual past participle form of wake.[8] This has led to the use of woke as an adjective equivalent to awake, which has become mainstream in the United States.
“While it is not known when being awake was first used as a metaphor for political engagement and activism, one early example in the United States was the paramilitary youth organization the Wide Awakes, which formed in Hartford, Connecticut in 1860 to support the Republican candidate in the 1860 presidential election, Abraham Lincoln. Local chapters of the group spread rapidly across northern cities in the ensuing months and "triggered massive popular enthusiasm" around the election. The political militancy of the group also alarmed many southerners, who saw in the Wide Awakes confirmation of their fears of northern, Republican political aggression. The support among the Wide Awakes for abolition, as well as the participation of a number of Black men in a Wide Awakes parade in Massachusetts, likely contributed to such anxiety.”

The Yoke of Bondage*

If there is one word in scripture that best describes the déjà vus of history, it might be the word bondage.1 Bondage appears 169 times (also, captivity 188 times) in the Quad2 to describe the recycling condition of the peoples in those books. It was the condition that necessitated Exodus upon exodus3; conflict on conflict, war on war. It is the condition (whether physical, mental, or spiritual) that oppresses millions billions in our present world. Bondage is the (imagined) final solution to the chaos, disorder, and evil4 that the Utopians of our technocratic world hate. Bondage is the end-game of the WEF,5 the WHO,6 their hidden masters, and their power competitors. And how do we know this about the WEF and the WHO, et al.? Simple: we go by their publications (web and print)7 and their actions sifted through history; especially 20th Century history — the yet-living history we were never going to repeat or forget.8

We have already seen the unfolding bondage of many in the so-called freedom-loving western nations; how the ignored subtext of the CV campaign “keeping-us-safe”9 is bondage — a bondage that is demonic in origin. It is the day- and nightmare that always follows unchecked, unrepentant corruption, pride,10 and iniquity. Every discerning human is witnessing in real time how the powers and their (witting and unwitting) minions in North America have become exporters and advocates of unchecked corruption, pride, inversion, and iniquity, linking into a global intention because bondage has always been the intent of evil and its advocates.

The Utopians are already inside the open gates11 and (like the PWOCs12 and traitors that they are) are inviting (and provoking) the “Assyrians and Babylonians to bring greater destruction and death in the cause of order-out-of-chaos. Remember: “Never let a crisis go to waste”13? And if we don't have a useful crisis, the powers invent or create one (disease, famine, shortage, unemployment, climate woes, conflict, war, etc., etc.); all in pursuit of a global bondage scenario. And what else should we expect when so many are saying: “We trust you: WEF and WHO and PHO and Pharma and Silicon Valley”?

And what is bondage if not being compelled to bend to official narratives (whether CV, climate, allowed speech, allowed opinion, etc., etc.), or else:
• lose your employment,
• lose freedom of association
• lose travel and mobility rights
• lose your bank and bank account
• lose your license to practice your profession
• lose your social media platform
• lose home and family ties
• be denied medical treatment
• be cut from your team or benched
• be smeared and targeted
• lose custody of children
• go into lockdown, quarantine, or jail
• lose your life
• and on and on,
In the once-free West, many are daily experiencing the above losses, yet so many are not paying attention or are in bondage to fear and lying wonders. Our world has fallen under the spirit of bondage — the spirit of domination.14 If we go by prophecy, it's going to get suddenly worse in another repeat of this:
21 And except they repent and turn to the Lord their God, behold, I will deliver them into the hands of their enemies; yea, and they shall be brought into bondage; and they shall be afflicted by the hand of their enemies.
22 And it shall come to pass that they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of my people.
23 And it shall come to pass that except this people repent and turn unto the Lord their God, they shall be brought into bondage; and none shall deliver them, except it be the Lord the Almighty God. (Book of Mormon | Mosiah 11:21-23)
and this:
47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;
50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young (Old Testament | Deuteronomy 28:47-50).
We are broadcasting our iniquity and guilt every day — 24/7 worldwide — in graphic color and recorded sound. So if the angels thought 1832 was a bad year, what must they think of 2023?
5 Behold, verily I say unto you, the angels are crying unto the Lord day and night, who are ready and waiting to be sent forth to reap down the fields (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 86:5).
If only we sinners could see and hear and believe:
28 ¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (New Testament | Matthew 11:28-30).

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (New Testament | Romans 8:15).

* Bondage: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bondage
1: the tenure or service of a villein, a serf, or an enslaved person
