Staying? or Leaving?

In a previous post titled: “Speaking Truth to Power | New Testament,”1 I quoted numerous words spoken by Jesus, including words He counselled His disciples to also use (see JST)2 — words highly critical of the religious authorities of His day — words that would surely have been considered “evil speaking” had the phrase been known to the criticized authorities.

In our day, we are also witnessing more and more questions and criticisms levelled at religious authorities of numerous faith traditions by their congregants. Many are choosing to leave their affiliations because the dissonance between what they believe and what they witness has become too great, BUT perhaps we should first ask: “What did Jesus and His disciples do with Their dissonance? Were They able to distinguish the core from the encumbrance?

As we review history, almost every creation of God or man, whether scripture, revelation, Constitution,  empire, agency, corporation, foundation, technology, building, work of art/drama/literature, etc., etc., has fallen victim to decay, revision, or corruption in process of time, re-imagination, or hubris. That is the nature of man and this fallen world. Thus, the dissonance between blueprint and manifestation seems ever present.

So what did Jesus and His disciples do with Their dissonance?

1. They knew the house and the gospel were God's, not man's:
45 And [Jesus] went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple.
(New Testament | Luke 19:45–47, bold emphasis added.; Also: Matthew 21:12–14; Mark 11:17)
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. ...
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
(New Testament | John 8:2, 20, bold emphasis added.)
19 ¶ The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.
20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
(New Testament | John 18:19–20, bold emphasis added.)
19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them [Peter and John] forth, and said,
20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
21 And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,
23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
(New Testament | Acts 5:19–25, bold emphasis added.)
2. They recognized and honored the honorable feasts and traditions:
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
(New Testament | Matthew 8:3–4, bold emphasis added.; Mark 1:44; Luke 5:14)
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests.
(New Testament | Luke 17:12–14, bold emphasis added.)
18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
(New Testament | Matthew 26:18–19, bold emphasis added.; Mark 14:12–16; Luke 22:7–15)
23 ¶ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
(New Testament | John 2:23, bold emphasis added.)
14 ¶ Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
(New Testament | John 7:14, bold emphasis added. (also v. 28)
3. They rejected incorrect or onerous traditions and directives:
16 ¶ Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
(New Testament | Matthew 6:16–18, bold emphasis added.)
1 THEN came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
(New Testament | Matthew 15:1–2, bold emphasis added.)
1 THEN came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
(New Testament | Mark 7:1–5, bold emphasis added.)
1 AND it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
(New Testament | Luke 6:1–10 | bold emphasis added; also New Testament | Mark 2:23–28)

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 ¶ The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
(New Testament | John 5:5–11, bold emphasis added.)

18 And [the authorities] called [Peter & John], and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
(New Testament | Acts 4:18–20, bold emphasis added.)

As we see from this insightful image from 1925 many things can be added to, misinterpreted, reinterpreted, suppressed, covered-up, and so forth, such that each person must be individually responsible to discern what is core and what is encumbrance — what is of God and what is of man — what is more or what is less than what God has ordained. There are other examples of Jesus breaking with tradition as well, such as extending the gospel to Samaritans and Gentiles, and being more inclusive of women.

As for our time, there is so much good in what the Prophet Joseph restored, so let us hold on to that good even if various powers may seek at times to sever some from that good. Let us be honest and forthright in our conscience and convictions, not insisting that others see as we see, nor alleging authority we do not have, but living our lives and testimonies with integrity, as the Spirit directs, come what may.

Speaking Truth to Power | New Testament

Seeing we see not;
hearing we hear not

Those in power seldom favor free speech. History and human nature prove this over and over. Even many of us without much power aren't that keen on free speech if it challenges deeply-held beliefs or narrative commitments (which seems the reason for avoiding religion and politics in social situations — though now recently expanded to include freedom and public health mandates).

As we daily witness, free speech has become so offensive to the powers and their believers, they have taken to labelling all speech that challenges their character or narratives as mis- and disinformation — being for them egregious forms of evil speaking that cannot be tolerated no matter how true the “evil speaking” may prove. So let's review some of the “evil speaking” preserved in Holy Writ. To keep this post manageable, we will first sample from the New Testament.

Jesus to scribes and Pharisees:
3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? ...
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.1

[Count the woes and hypocrites!]
13 ¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? ...
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? ...
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 ¶ Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.2

6 He [Jesus] answered and said unto them [Pharisees and scribes] , Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.3
Jesus to Pharisees and Sadducces:
3 O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign;4
Jesus to Pharisees, disciples of Pharisees, Herodians, lawyers:
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?5

37 ¶ And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.
38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.
39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?
41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45 ¶ Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.6
Jesus to the chief priests and elders
31 ... Jesus saith unto them [the chief priests and the elders of the people – v. 23], Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.7
John the Baptist to Pharisees and Sadducees
7 ¶ But when [John the Baptist] saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.8
John the Baptist to Herod
17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John [the Baptist], and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.9
Apostles Peter and John to the rulers, elders, scribes, et al. including Annas (v. 6) the high priest,  and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest,
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13 ¶ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.10
Stephen to the synagogue of the Libertines, Cyrenians, Alexandrians, them of Cilicia and of Asia, and the people, the elders, the scribes, and the council (6:9, 12) circa 30s AD:
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54 ¶ When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.11
Apostle Paul to high priest Ananias:
1 AND Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest?
5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.12
For those who think only powers should speak truth to other powers, consider:

JST Jesus to His disciples (black and red bold is JST):
6 And Jesus said unto his disciples, Beholdest thou the scribes,* and the Pharisees, and the Priests, and the Levites? They teach in their synagogues, but do not observe the law, nor the commandments; and all have gone out of the way, and are under sin.
7 Go thou and say unto them, Why teach ye men the law and the commandments, when ye yourselves are the children of corruption?

8 5 Say unto them, Thou hypocrite Ye hypocrites, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye eyes; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
9 Go ye into the world, saying unto all, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come nigh unto you.13

Will We | Should We Forget?

With the initiation of a devastating new narrative of war, many of the COVID mandates are being quietly dropped by complicit powers and authorities — being quietly dropped without acknowledgement of the honorable science that is exposing the WHO, Pharma,1 pscience,2 and PHO lies and crimes that can no longer be hidden. But in the tsunamic wake of another devastating, orchestrated crisis will these unconscionable lies and crimes be ignored or forgotten?

Let us ask: Have we heard any confession, any repentance, any pleas for forgiveness for perpetuating or sustaining the lies, coercions, and crimes of a crumbling narrative of “safe and effective”? If we just go forward, pretending no one erred in judgment, conformity, persuasion, or influence; that no one need confess and repent; that rights and freedoms can be so maliciously and mendaciously disregarded without consequence, then can we expect any better outcome than greater and continuing deception, domination, destruction, and death on a global level?

Consider these two World Order (WO) facts:
Klaus Schwab | September 20, 2017 (Harvard)
(This transcription begins at circa hour 1:07:48)3
“Yes, actually this notion to integrate young leaders (cough) is part of the World Economic Forum[4] since many years. And I have to say when I mention our names, like Mrs. Merkel, even Vladimir Putin, and so on. They all have been Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are very proud of now is the young generation like Prime Minister Trudeau, President of Argentina, and so on. So we penetrates the cabinets. So yesterday, I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I would knows that half of this cabinet, or even more [than] half of this cabinet are former or actually Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. It's true in Argentina and it's true in France, now. And I mean, with the president, with the Young Global Leader; but what is important for me is those Young Global Leaders have an opportunity to come here and we have established a course now since several years, and I think it has, this corporation, has a tremendous impact because being here for a week really creates a strong community; and we, in addition, to the Young Global Leaders, we have now the Global Shapers in 450 cities arounds the world. ... [They enthusiastically recognize the Global Shapers in the audience.] And what is astonishing is to see how those young people really have a different mindset and I have great admiration because when I have a group of Global Shapers in the room and I asks them: are you thinking global terms or in national terms, the majority would say in global terms. If I asks them what is more important for you: to make money or to serve society, more, certainly 80 percent would raise their hand and would say: serving society. So I'm very optimistic about the future of the world because we see young generation, I think we can build what I would call a new Renaissance particularity using technology; solving all the issues moving forward.”

● Volodymyr Zelenskyy - President of Ukraine https://twitter.com/members_forum/status/1497183130410631170
Curiously, this lenghty twitter record of Zelenskyy's appearances and devotion to WEF has been suspended!! Option: search "Zelenskyy AND WEF".
or try here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220225142928/https://twitter.com/members_forum/status/1497183130410631170
In light of these two facts (and hundreds of others now being suppressed or false-flagged), consider and ask: Is one hidden hand5 puppeting all the narratives of domination, destruction, and death? Are we, at this very hour, choosing one of the seven dragon heads6 to favor with our support and belief? If we think leaders do not psychopathically sacrifice their own citizens for the sake of a power, WO, or Utopian agenda, then we know little of history or false-flags or elitism or the ubiquity and antiquity of power abuse. The masses (and even the naïve elites) are always fodder for satanic schemes. (Remember all those European revolutions of recent centuries?7)

Are we buying into more soul-capturing,8 soul-destroying narratives? Can we not see that all the terrible “fall-out” from COVID and now this accelerated war has been and is geared toward the destruction of civilization, culture, and especially agency9? How many times have we forgotten or ignored past corrupt, unconscionable actions by the powers and authorities so that evil was allowed to escalate into this present dire, dreadful situation?

Where is our obedience to the command:
23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.
24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.
25 For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies;10
Where is our awareness? Where is our repentance? Where is our memory?

2. Pscience is the corrupted offshoot of honourable Science – pscience being the inevitable consequence of man's obsessive pursuit and protection of power, gain, glory, and domination; being pseudo, politicized, psychopathic, propagandizing, plagiarizing, psy-opic, and above all, profit-obsessed, and profit-driven. This obsessive pursuit and protection by people without conscience is often enabled by naïve, trusting, or fear-filled acolytes and servitors. Pscience is a one-faith, one-dogma, heretic-fearing, self-deceiving, other-censoring system.

5. New Testament | John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
6. New Testament | Revelation 12:3

8, Book of Mormon | Alma 12:11
11 And they that will harden their hearts, to them is given the lesser portion of the word until they know nothing concerning his mysteries; and then they are taken captive by the devil, and led by his will down to destruction. Now this is what is meant by the chains of hell.
Book of Mormon | Alma 40:13
13 And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of the wicked, yea, who are evil—for behold, they have no part nor portion of the Spirit of the Lord; for behold, they chose evil works rather than good; therefore the spirit of the devil did enter into them, and take possession of their house—and these shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping, and wailing, and gnashing of teeth, and this because of their own iniquity, being led captive by the will of the devil.
Book of Mormon | 3 Nephi 18:15
15 Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always, lest ye be tempted by the devil, and ye be led away captive by him.
Pearl of Great Price | Moses 4:4
4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.
Book of Mormon | 1 Nephi 15:35
35 And there is a place prepared, yea, even that awful hell of which I have spoken, and the devil is the preparator of it; wherefore the final state of the souls of men is to dwell in the kingdom of God, or to be cast out because of that justice of which I have spoken.
9. Pearl of Great Price | Moses 4:3-4
   3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.
10. Book of Mormon | Ether 8:23-25 (Bold emphasis added.)
