What is Our Real History?

“There are two ways to be fooled.
 One is to believe what isn’t true;
 the other is to refuse to believe what is true.”¹

Which raises the quandary footnoted (being #10) in a blog post of January 16, 2016.³ The quandary? How can we be sure of church history when so many revisions were made to it in 1845, the year following the martyrdom of Joseph in 1844? Here is the reproduced footnote:

So what was the purpose of so many revisions made to our history? Do we know what and how extensive the revisions were? Were they innocuous? Were they just cleaning up errors? adding things that should have been recorded but had been forgotten as in the Savior's admonition to Nephi⁴?

Maybe someone has researched and written about these revisions in depth (if they can even be ascertained), but the question remains: How can we know the full truth if we are not open to seeking it? And if we refuse to see and hear 360°, how can we take dogmatic positions with only 180° (or less) awareness? Why do we attach ourselves so readily to rigid positions? holding to hard priors⁵ instead of viewing as best we can the 360° view and being truly open to proving all things⁶ with a discerning spirit? Have we not learned from the déjà vus of record-keeping and the prescience of George Orwell's 1984 how easy it is to amend, revise, mis-state, or mis-remember “events”? sometimes deliberately toward error?

What, too, is our real U.S. history? Are we not witnessing every day allegations of “suppressed facts”? of CIA and ST⁷ psych-ops orchestrated without conscience, sometimes just for the “fun and games” of it? Have we not already been put on notice of the “revision / false attribution” strategy of those early deceivers in our own church history⁸? How can we be sure what is original-Joseph and what is revision-Joseph? and in these last days what is deep-state propaganda and what is fact?

Perhaps that is why we need to reserve final judgments⁹ in our Bernayzian¹⁰ world, not only about Joseph, but about US until we are ready to hear and see 360°.

The science writer Sharon Begley gives insight into such motivated reasoning: “If you have a strongly held belief with an emotional component, the brain defends information that reinforces those ‘priors’ and is skeptical of information that challenges them. … People who hold these hard priors filter information to support their perceptions.” (Bold emphasis mine.) These observations are from the work of political scientist Hank Jenkins-Smith of the University of Oklahoma as quoted, in Newsweek, October 13, 2010, pp. 29-30 by science writer Sharon Begley about voter tendencies—observations that seem applicable to almost everything that requires choice or discernment. We all do it, (even this writer) and without awareness of a “priors” bias, are we not all more prone to biased judgment—whether pro or con? Shouldn’t 360° honesty in dealing with all the facts help control that bias?

LGATs? (Large Group Awareness Training)

Considering the hundreds of LGAT¹ programs that dot the global landscape and the millions of dollars many of these programs generate for their owners, one wonders how aware participants are (or will become) concerning:

▪ the antiquity (the déjà vus) of human programming through intense, exhausting, extended instruction sessions — manoeuvring “learners” into vulnerable states regarding facilitator's beliefs and messages?
▪ the use of peer, group, and event pressure to promote conformity to / acceptance of ideas, demands and expectations of the program and programmers?
▪ how polar many LGAT events are to best-practice learning paradigms?
▪ the use of “stress & release” strategies to manipulate thoughts, feelings, emotions, actions²?
▪ how the erratic mix of criticism / praise, abuse / affection (breakdown) are well-worn techniques used to create dependency, co-dependency, confusion, submission, increasing susceptibility to control and domination, and, in extreme cases, to DID (dissociative identity disorder)?
▪ the confessional nature of inner explorations that reveal personal secrets (a frequent power strategy of individual and institutional power-abusers)?
▪ the likelihood (in our Orwellian world) that many of these LGATs are used by surveillance operatives to find, assess, recruit, and/or control “useful assets”?
▪ how unaware many LGAT attendees seem about the massive shift in the last century toward technology-assisted domination systems that keep people focused on the singular power, privileges, and RIGHTS of the self, yet divided from the equally critical aggregate power of WE THE PEOPLE — an aggregate-power essential to protecting and preserving individual and community rights against domination systems?
▪ how the selling of spiritual insights / gifts through pricey LGATs may constitute “priestcraft”³?
▪ how similar most LGAT programs are to each other?

False Patriotism?

If God began with Plan A for America and then America resorted to Plans B through Z, shouldn't we cast off the pretense and hypocrisy of unthinking patriotism? Shouldn't we, as supposed truth-seekers and -bearers, reject the entire MSM and deep-state propaganda of “American” moral / ethical exceptionalism and admit the documented facts?¹ If we want to know why we, in freedom-loving North America, are drowning in a swamp of lies, fraud, and corruption, let us begin with studying Americas' alternate plans and actions.

Perhaps begin with four of the D plans:

Shouldn't we be the most informed about the repetitive cycle of power and gain agendas? of secret conspiracies to usurp power? Shouldn't we remember how the devil gives revelations, too, generation upon generation? Shouldn't we be amongst those devoted to courageously exposing the consequent crimes and corruptions? Shouldn't our voices be the loudest?³ Where are our voices?

If we open our eyes, we will know this: The Gadiantons are not just at the gates. They are inside and in control in the highest and lowest of places, both to the right and to the left.⁴ It's all déjà vu: even our own dis-beliefs, fears, biases, apathies, polemics, participation, silence, etc. But such does not have to prevail. We can return to Plan A if “We the People” will wake up, speak out, and utterly refuse to sustain the corrupted beast system of Babylon — an enemy more deadly than socialism / communism could ever hope to be. Babylon, the hidden-in-plain-sight nemesis of Zion — that greatPlan B that all the other plans, C to Z, sustain, build up, or bow to.

Is the rejection of Babylon⁵ (and her prestigious sycophants) too much to ask?

O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. Are we paying attention? Do we care what is going on? Do we think that ignoring Satan's M.O. makes it go away? Do we not realize that every good cause, organization, group, person, or nation has been targeted for infiltration, corruption, or destruction? that secret combinations and conpiracies are core, perpetual M.O.s of the destroyer; that whatever the promise of a life or mission, it can be corrupted? that witnesses have been exposing for years how the world (and especially the U.S.) elites have fallen into hypocritical systems that are almost beyond comprehension? that the Savior could say to us today, with even greater conviction:

Woe unto you, [elites], hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. (New Testament | Matthew 23:27)

If we do not:
    ▪ become aware of our own complicity of ignorance, denial, and in-action;
    ▪ repent and reverse course;
    ▪ plead for God’s help;
do we imagine that the “rod of God’s anger and indignation” will not be sent?
