This post publishes a letter (email) sent yesterday to seven administrators and law professors at the J. Reuben Clark Law School. When we claim rights and freedoms, we also have responsibilities, and one of those responsibilities is to speak-up in defense of freedom. This post is an appeal, to all who continue to support the COVID narrative, to reflect on where they have put their trust and why.

Just over one week ago, many of us were invited to the JRCLS Annual Fireside with this bullet point heading the list of “notes” for attendees:• Masks are required; attendees must be vaccinated.
Could someone please explain, in light of:
1. these documented exposés:

• Kennedy Jr., Robert F. The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health;
2. Book of Mormon warnings of secret combinations in the last days seeking "to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and [to bring] to pass the destruction of all people" (Ether 8:22–26[1], emphasis added);
3. Nephi's warning:
34 O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 4:34);
4. Christ's admonition to take the narrow way of the few and not the broad way of the many[2];

Yes, in light of all these and many more, WHY are the JRCLS and BYU campuses demanding vaccination and masking when the COVID narrative is in dispute and unsupported by unfolding evidence? Have we learned nothing from the Book of Mormon? from Nuremberg? from teenager Helmuth Hübener who was reinstated to LDS membership after his excommunication by his branch president and his execution by German authorities? Have we so soon forgotten his courage and integrity in resisting Nazi crimes against humanity?[9] Or do we think none of the above 12 points apply because some scientists[10] and other profiteers have declared a pandemic and mandated experimental vaccination for "our good"? – a vaccine that is now proving neither safe nor effective[11].

Would someone please explain why we are continuing to sustain this crumbling narrative of fear-driven domination and destruction of God-ordained rights, freedoms, and dignity? Where is our courage? Where is our remembrance of history? Where is our discernment? Where is our trust in a magnificent God – His omniscience, His omnipotence, His omnipresence, His forgiveness?

Principles
The Declaration is morally binding on physicians, and that obligation overrides any national or local laws or regulations, if the Declaration provides for a higher standard of protection of humans than the latter. Investigators still have to abide by local legislation but will be held to the higher standard.
Basic principles
The fundamental principle is respect for the individual (Article 8), his right to self-determination and the right to make informed decisions (Articles 20, 21 and 22) regarding participation in research, both initially and during the course of the research. The investigator's duty is solely to the patient (Articles 2, 3 and 10) or volunteer (Articles 16, 18), and while there is always a need for research (Article 6), the subject's welfare must always take precedence over the interests of science and society (Article 5), and ethical considerations must always take precedence over laws and regulations (Article 9).
