Enoch's Solar Calendar: Month II (Two)?

If the sun begins rising through portal 5 during Month II, does a changed position at sunrise mark the beginning of the new solar month? Overcast conditions for the past week have precluded observation where I live, but considering Enoch's writings of eight 30-day months intersected by four 31-day months, here is a PDF grid of what Month II (Two) might look like if we looked to Enoch instead of Pope Gregory (assuming, of course, that Enoch hasn't suffered text corruption — and who knows for sure?!). Day 1 of Month II, in theory, follows Day 30 of Month I.



For those interested in what has happened in scripture / history during Month II (Two), here is a list. And if there is parallelism or déjà vu in times, seasons, and prophecy, could any of these recitations of date have any relevance to these last days? — (the last week of Daniel's 70 weeks?)

Calendar - Second Month ( 15 references)

Let Us Be Clear!

(Discerning “woke” and “new woke”)

It is time we cleared up the morass surrounding co-opted, corrupted “woke.” To say we are done-with-woke or that we are anti-woke is to confuse and conflate history with today's histrionics. “Stay woke” was and is African-American Vernacular English beginning in the 1930s (perhaps in use as early as the 1860s)¹ to raise awareness of pervasive discrimination and injustice against African-Americans and to break out of those unwarranted prejudices and exclusions. Thus, to say we are anti-woke is to appear to disdain or regret all the advances of the past century. No, we are not anti-woke or done-with-woke because increasing awareness and truth are what keeps us moving forward in honoring and preserving fundamental rights and protections for every living soul. Those fundamental rights and protections are the Right to:

▪ self-determination,
▪ liberty,
▪ due process of law,
▪ freedom of movement,
▪ privacy,
▪ freedom of thought,
▪ freedom of religion,
▪ freedom of expression,
▪ peaceful assembly,
▪ freedom of association.²

The original Woke was in pursuit of these Rights and Truths — the Truth that all men, women, and children are children of God and are entitled to equal Rights and Protections according to just and holy principles.³

BUT the present, appropriated, (“new”) woke (nwoke) manifests the very opposite of the original woke. Nwoke is about aggressively negating those Rights and Protections for everyone (regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, politics, status, success, etc.) who does not affirm the various nwoke narratives of critical race theory, victimization, entitlement, spectrumized sexual orientation, etc. Nwoke is anti-woke. It is regressive in the extreme. In speech and action, nwoke opposes the universality of Rights and Protections. Nwoke vociferously proclaims adherence to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI-ology⁴), but in hypocritical speech and action (public posts, vlogs, gatherings, protests, counter-protests, profane tirades, etc.), adherents deny diversity, equity, inclusion and rights for all but affirmers of their narratives. Nwoke, calling itself woke, excludes, disqualifies, mocks, targets, censors, and maligns the “non-nwoke” of every stripe.

There are tens of thousands of thoughtful observers, left, center, and right, who reject nwoke dogma — who see clearly that the tyrannical demands for special entitlement, advantage, recognition, privilege, accommodation, and affirmation based in alleged life-experience and feelings have corrupted Truth and reality. But, at the same time, there are tens of thousands of left, center, and right nwoke believers who have bought into the pretended DEI-ology — the propaganda of the Lie.

The tragedy is that DSM-V-documented maladies are being celebrated and normalized, mostly by self-obsessed diva / divo (SOD) activists, along with their captured hosts and corporate sponsors. Some gender dysphorics who wish to quietly and privately transition or de-transition (pursuing their right to self-determination and self-expression) and who have no interest in compelling public display and affirmation of their life-choices are appalled by the tyranny and escalating violence and violent rhetoric  of the SOD activists. The activists continually allege instances of hate and violence directed against themselves (and there may be some pushback in reaction to SOD tyranny), but, as others have noted, what activists call "hate speech" is any speech that they hate. And if we were awake to the depth of evil and the science of domination, we would know that infiltrators and provocateurs will do whatever exacerbates division, violence, and fear on every side. That is the way of the destroyer.

Let us also be clear: there are dysphorics who deserve compassion as they struggle with self-identity and self-understanding, but there is also an agenda of destruction that has been in play since creation⁵ — an agenda that seeks to turn everything upside down⁶ and inside out; that calls evil good and good evil.⁷ And in this year 2023, we are in the very midst of this inversion. Some day the experiments, poisons, pscience, propaganda, and politics that have driven this social, mental, and emotional contagion and spiritual catastrophe will be exposed.⁸

And if we think gender chaos is a new thing in these last days, it is not.⁹ Androgyny¹⁰ (and its cousins) have always been an obsession of the adversary through all ages of time. Considering the forever recycling depravities in history, Satan manifests as a self- and sex-obsessed entity. Why would he change his modus operandi of destruction at this late stage, when it has worked so well for millennia? In partial quote of Shakespeare:

There are more things in [hell] and earth, ...,
Than are dreamt of in [our] philosophy.
Shakespeare: Hamlet: Prince of Denmark (1.5.167-8)¹¹

And so, in this age of lying wonders, 2023 repeats the corruptions of 23 B.C.

4 And seeing the people in a state of such awful wickedness, and those Gadianton robbers filling the judgment–seats—having usurped the power and authority of the land; laying aside the commandments of God, and not in the least aright before him; doing no justice unto the children of men;

Déjà Vu: A Corban* Variant?

When Jesus used the word corban* in chastising the Pharisees and scribes, what did He mean?

11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. (New Testament | Mark 7:11-13)

Here is an explanation:

Jesus gives the proof of their corruption of the Law by citing their use of “Corban.” Moses had instructed God’s people to “honor their father and mother” (Exodus 20:12), but the Pharisees negated that command by teaching that they could give money to the temple in lieu of helping their parents in need. Whatever money might have been used to provide for aging parents could be dedicated to the temple treasury instead. Saying, “It is Corban” would exempt a person from his responsibility to his parents. In other words, the Pharisees took a legitimate Corban offering and used it in an illegitimate and devious way to defraud their parents (and enrich themselves). Thus, the Law of God was nullified.¹

So, are we seeing, in Christian churches worldwide, a variation of this corruption? What of the  preachers of the “Prosperity Gospel” as it is called²? Some say, in essence:

“Give generously to our ministry, [subtext: even if you can't afford it; even if it means you might not (or that someone else³ will need to) meet your financial obligations] because if you trust enough, your needs will be met and blessed by a generous, loving, reciprocating God. No need to worry about obligations to family and others, because if you are faithful to God, He will be faithful to you.”⁴

Do we see any “corban-like” déjà vu today?

As to the first-fruits argument made by some for giving off-the-top (before anything else), let us ask: Were first-fruits not a memorial offering with no calculation of percentage and no conception of avoiding temporal obligation where one might come under this condemnation:

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel (New Testament | 1 Timothy 5:8)?

Note: I have chosen Kirtland Ohio as the reference point for dates / times at https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/@5159809, but other locations should yield similar observations.

According to (my understanding, thus far, of) Enoch's Calendar, we are approaching a seasonal transition to Spring and a new year's beginning marked by the Vernal Equinox. But when is the equinox? It's advertised as March 20 for 2023 (Northern hemisphere), yet the 9 portions of Light and 9 portions of Dark (out of 18 portions of time) set forth by Enoch (to mark the seasonal shift) comes closest to a 9:9 split (or 12:12 split per our modern timing) on March 17. The hours of daylight for March 17 are 11:59:52, being .0048 seconds short of an even 12:12 split. The days before and after March 17 do not come that close. And yes, I am aware of the explanations for March 20th,⁴ but the question is: Will there be any other sign in the heavens to serve as second witness to the seasonal transition taking place on the 17th or the 20th or some other date which according to Enoch's calendar layout would be day 31 of Month XII. The four 31st days of Months III, VI. IX. and XII are purportedly the transition days that herald new seasons and new months.

As the dark moon, called new moon in lunar phase charts, is set for March 21, the first crescent waxing moon (real new moon?) will probably appear March 22 or 23, thus the synchronicity with the Equinox is off for Enoch's perfect months of 30, 30, 31 that allegedly mark each season of 91 days and each solar year of four seasons of 364 days.

So, do we wait for the first waxing crescent of the moon after the equinox to start the season and the new month? Do we wait for the first Wednesday after the Equinox to start the year and month as some do? Do we accept the nearest 12:12 (9:9) split and start the new month and day that evening of the Equinox or at midnight or the next morning?  And what's with the periodic intercalation to adjust for extra time? — to accommodate the strange yearly surplus of ¼ day? or is it one and ¼ days? Has this confusion of time been deliberate? 
 
As I have just had occasion to read Genesis through Deuteronomy twice in the past month and observed the micro-details of God's moral and tabernacle requirements, I remain puzzled with the apparent imprecision of His clock and calendar. Surely we are missing some vital knowledge or did things go haywire at the flood or at some other cosmic, catastrophic event?

Thus, the observations and studies continue.

Note: To those upset by these explorations and views (and probable mistakes and misinterpretations),  consider that much of what we insist is true is probably not, as we will find out in due course. Dogmatic science often converts into pscience which one can explore by searching “pscience” through this blog's search bar in the left column or at Deja Vu ~ Times.

Déjà Vu Dilemma: The Watchmen?

As we observe “leaders”¹ today, do we observe watchmen or do we observe “children” carried about by every wind of social, politically-correct, nwoke² or world-order (WO) doctrine that is sweeping over the world.

Where, in our last-days' governments, do we find elected or appointed leaders who are watchmen:

Why (considering tens of thousands of “leaders” through the centuries) are there so few that can be characterized as watchmen? watchmen who stand for truth, accountability, integrity, courage, freedom, justice, and judgment? Where are the last-days' leaders who are resisting the WO narratives of lockdown, lockstep, lockup? Yes, there are a few — alarmingly too few — who are braving aggressive censorship, maligning, and loss. Where are the last-days' leaders who are resisting and exposing the hypocrisies of:

▪ “my body, their choice”
▪ “safe and effective”
▪ compelled speech
▪ compelled affirmation
▪ pro-WHO
▪ pro-WEF
▪ pro-P3
▪ pro-global
▪ pro-controlled-utopia?

Do we really think that conglomerate giants that have been fined billions in the past for deception and profiteering can be trusted with anything⁴? that investing in megacorps has no sin factor? that facilitating the power aggregation of the few against the (rights of the) many will bring anything but WOE, WOE, WOE?

How do the following laments about watchmen apply today? How are we measuring up to this Ephesians' directive? as last-days' watchmen?

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: ...
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness (New Testament | Ephesians 4:14-15, 17-19).

Laments / Warnings⁵:

10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant (Old Testament | Isaiah 56:10-12).

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

15 Behold, the destroyer I have sent forth to destroy and lay waste mine enemies; and not many years hence they shall not be left to pollute mine heritage, and to blaspheme my name upon the lands which I have consecrated for the gathering together of my saints.
16 Behold, I have commanded my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., to say unto the strength of my house, even my warriors, my young men, and middle–aged, to gather together for the redemption of my people, and throw down the towers of mine enemies, and scatter their watchmen;
17 But the strength of mine house have not hearkened unto my words.
18 But inasmuch as there are those who have hearkened unto my words, I have prepared a blessing and an endowment for them, if they continue faithful (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 105:15-18).

O that we were all watchmen in the language of Isaiah!

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Old Testament | Isaiah 62:6-7).

Doctrine and Covenants | Section 101:44-54
44 A certain nobleman had a spot of land, very choice; and he said unto his servants: Go ye unto my vineyard, even upon this very choice piece of land, and plant twelve olive–trees;
45 And set watchmen round about them, and build a tower, that one may overlook the land round about, to be a watchman upon the tower, that mine olive–trees may not be broken down when the enemy shall come to spoil and take upon themselves the fruit of my vineyard.
46 Now, the servants of the nobleman went and did as their lord commanded them, and planted the olive–trees, and built a hedge round about, and set watchmen, and began to build a tower.
47 And while they were yet laying the foundation thereof, they began to say among themselves: And what need hath my lord of this tower?
48 And consulted for a long time, saying among themselves: What need hath my lord of this tower, seeing this is a time of peace?
49 Might not this money be given to the exchangers? For there is no need of these things.
50 And while they were at variance one with another they became very slothful, and they hearkened not unto the commandments of their lord.
51 And the enemy came by night, and broke down the hedge; and the servants of the nobleman arose and were affrighted, and fled; and the enemy destroyed their works, and broke down the olive–trees.
52 Now, behold, the nobleman, the lord of the vineyard, called upon his servants, and said unto them, Why! what is the cause of this great evil?
53 Ought ye not to have done even as I commanded you, and—after ye had planted the vineyard, and built the hedge round about, and set watchmen upon the walls thereof—built the tower also, and set a watchman upon the tower, and watched for my vineyard, and not have fallen asleep, lest the enemy should come upon you?
54 And behold, the watchman upon the tower would have seen the enemy while he was yet afar off; and then ye could have made ready and kept the enemy from breaking down the hedge thereof, and saved my vineyard from the hands of the destroyer.

What's with the Moon?

(Times and Seasons Series: Post #VI)

Have you ever made observations of the moon for an extended period? how sometimes it's in the night sky and sometimes in the day sky? If its movements are to be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years, as in:

14 ¶ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years: ...
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (JST Old Testament | Genesis 1:14, 16)

then what might we be missing by not paying attention?

From the Ethiopic Book of Enoch [1 Enoch],¹ we read this about the moon:

XLI. 3-9. Astronomical Secrets. ...
5. And I saw the chambers of the sun and moon, whence they proceed and whither they come again, and their glorious return, and how one is superior to the other, and their stately orbit, and how they do not leave their orbit, and they add nothing to their orbit and they take nothing from it, and they keep faith with each other, in accordance with the oath by which they are bound together.
6. And first the sun goes forth and traverses his path according to the commandment of the Lord of Spirits, and mighty is His name for ever and ever.
7. And after that I saw the hidden and the visible path of the moon, and she accomplishes the course of her path in that place by day and by night--the one holding a position opposite to the other before the Lord of Spirits. And they give thanks and praise and rest not; For unto them is their thanksgiving rest.
8. For the sun changes oft for a blessing or a curse, And the course of the path of the moon is light to the righteous And darkness to the sinners in the name of the Lord, Who made a separation between the light and the darkness, And divided the spirits of men,²

CHAPTER LXXII. The Sun.
3. And I saw six portals in which the sun rises, and six portals in which the sun sets and the moon rises and sets in these portals, and the leaders of the stars and those whom they lead: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order: also many windows to the right and left of these portals.³

32. On that day the night decreases and amounts to nine parts, and the day to nine parts, and the night is equal to the day and the year is exactly as to its days three hundred and sixty-four.⁴

37. As [the sun] rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal.⁵

CHAPTER LXXIII.
1. And after this law I saw another law dealing with the smaller luminary, which is named the Moon.
2. And her circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and her chariot in which she rides is driven by the wind, and light is given to her in (definite) measure.
3. And her rising and setting change every month: and her days are like the days of the sun, and when her light is uniform (i.e. full) it amounts to the seventh part of the light of the sun.
4. And thus she rises. And her first phase in the east comes forth on the thirtieth morning: and on that day she becomes visible, and constitutes for you the first phase of the moon on the thirtieth day together with the sun in the portal where the sun rises.
5. And the one half of her goes forth by a seventh part, and her whole circumference is empty, without light, with the exception of one-seventh part of it, (and) the fourteenth part of her light.
6. And when she receives one-seventh part of the half of her light, her light amounts to one-seventh part and the half thereof.
7. And she sets with the sun, and when the sun rises the moon rises with him and receives the half of one part of light, and in that night in the beginning of her morning [in the commencement of the lunar day] the moon sets with the sun, and is invisible that night with the fourteen parts and the half of one of them.
8. And she rises on that day with exactly a seventh part, and comes forth and recedes from the rising of the sun, and in her remaining days she becomes bright in the (remaining) thirteen parts.⁶

CHAPTER LXXIV.
1. And I saw another course, a law for her [the Moon], (and) how according to that law she performs her monthly revolution.
2. And all these Uriel, the holy angel who is the leader of them all, showed to me, and their positions, and I wrote down their positions as he showed them to me, and I wrote down their months as they were, and the appearance of their lights till fifteen days were accomplished.
3. In single seventh parts she accomplishes all her light in the east, and in single seventh parts accomplishes all her darkness in the west.
4. And in certain months she alters her settings, and in certain months she pursues her own peculiar course.
5. In two months the moon sets with the sun: in those two middle portals the third and the fourth.
6. She goes forth for seven days, and turns about and returns again through the portal where the sun rises, and accomplishes all her light: and she recedes from the sun, and in eight days enters the sixth portal from which the sun goes forth.
7. And when the sun goes forth from the fourth portal she goes forth seven days, until she goes forth from the fifth and turns back again in seven days into the fourth portal and accomplishes all her light: and she recedes and enters into the first portal in eight days.
8. And she returns again in seven days into the fourth portal from which the sun goes forth.
9. Thus I saw their position--how the moons rose and the sun set in those days.
10. And if five years are added together the sun has an overplus of thirty days, and all the days which accrue to it for one of those five years, when they are full, amount to 364 days.
11. And the overplus of the sun and of the stars amounts to six days: in 5 years 6 days every year come to 30 days: and the moon falls behind the sun and stars to the number of 30 days.
12. And the sun and the stars bring in all the years exactly, so that they do not advance or delay their position by a single day unto eternity; but complete the years with perfect justice in 364 days.
13. In 3 years there are 1092 days, and in 5 years 1820 days, so that in 8 years there are 2912 days.
14. For the moon alone the days amount in 3 years to 1062 days, and in 5 years she falls 50 days behind: [i.e. to the sum (of 1770) there is to be added (1000 and) 62 days.]
15. And in 5 years there are 1770 days, so that for the moon the days in 8 years amount to 2832 days.
16. [For in 8 years she falls behind to the amount of 80 days], all the days she falls behind in 8 years are 80.
17. And the year is accurately completed in conformity with their world-stations and the stations of the sun, which rise from the portals through which it (the sun) rises and sets 30 days.⁷

CHAPTER LXXVIII. The Sun and Moon: the Waxing and Waning of the Moon.
1. And the names of the sun are the following: the first Orjârês, and the second Tômâs.
2. And the moon has four names: the first name is Asônjâ, the second Eblâ, the third Benâsê, and the fourth Erâe.
3. These are the two great luminaries: their circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and the size of the circumference of both is alike.
4. In the circumference of the sun there are seven portions of light which are added to it more than to the moon, and in definite measures it is s transferred till the seventh portion of the sun is exhausted.
5. And they set and enter the portals of the west, and make their revolution by the north, and come forth through the eastern portals on the face of the heaven.
6. And when the moon rises one-fourteenth part appears in the heaven: ⌈ the light becomes full in her ⌉: on the fourteenth day she accomplishes her light.
7. And fifteen parts of light are transferred to her till the fifteenth day (when) her light is accomplished, according to the sign of the year, and she becomes fifteen parts, and the moon grows by (the addition of) fourteenth parts.
8. And in her waning (the moon) decreases on the first day to fourteen parts of her light, on the second to thirteen parts of light, on the third to twelve, on the fourth to eleven, on the fifth to ten, on the sixth to nine, on the seventh to eight, on the eighth to seven, on the ninth to six, on the tenth to five, on the eleventh to four, on the twelfth to three, on the thirteenth to two, on the fourteenth to the half of a seventh, and all her remaining light disappears wholly on the fifteenth.
9. And in certain months the month has twenty-nine days and once twenty-eight.
10. And Uriel showed me another law: when light is transferred to the moon, and on which side it is transferred to her by the sun.
11. During all the period during which the moon is growing in her light, she is transferring it to herself when opposite to the sun during fourteen days [her light is accomplished in the heaven], and when she is illumined throughout, her light is accomplished full in the heaven.
12. And on the first day she is called the new moon, for on that day the light rises upon her.
13. She becomes full moon exactly on the day when the sun sets in the west, and from the east she rises at night, and the moon shines the whole night through till the sun rises over against her and the moon is seen over against the sun.
14. On the side whence the light of the moon comes forth, there again she wanes till all the light vanishes and all the days of the month are at an end, and her circumference is empty, void of light.
15. And three months she makes of thirty days, and at her time she makes three months of twenty-nine days each, in which she accomplishes her waning in the first period of time, and in the first portal for one hundred and seventy-seven days.
16. And in the time of her going out she appears for three months (of) thirty days each, and for three months she appears (of) twenty-nine each.
17. At night she appears like a man for twenty days each time, and by day she appears like the heaven, and there is nothing else in her save her light.⁸

CHAPTER LXXIX.
1. And now, my son, I have shown thee everything, and the law of all the stars of the heaven is completed.
2. And he showed me all the laws of these for every day, and for every season of bearing rule, and for every year, and for its going forth, and for the order prescribed to it every month and every week:
3. And the waning of the moon which takes place in the sixth portal: for in this sixth portal her light is accomplished, and after that there is the beginning of the waning:
4. 〈And the waning〉 which takes place in the first portal in its season, till one hundred and seventy-seven days are accomplished: reckoned according to weeks, twenty-five (weeks) and two days.
5. She falls behind the sun and the order of the stars exactly five days in the course of one period, and when this place which thou seest has been traversed.
6. Such is the picture and sketch of every luminary which Uriel the archangel, who is their leader, showed unto me.⁹

CHAPTER LXXIV
4. And in certain months she [the Moon] alters her settings, and in certain months she pursues her own peculiar course.
5. In two months the moon sets with the sun: in those two middle portals the third and the fourth. ¹⁰

Does the moon really set with the sun in portals three and four? if so, why does she do this? And are those middle portals the ones that relate to months 6 and 7 (with five months on each side of them) and with the Fall Equinox (transition) marking the end of month 6 and the beginning of month 7?

If we observed the moon using 1 Enoch's calendar, what might it tell us about signs and seasons, days and years?

With our Gregorian Calendar, we seem to have lost the precision and beauty of days and months and years as seen in the grid version of 1 Enoch's calendar.¹¹

If indeed, the sun and the moon “keep faith with each other, in accordance with the oath by which they are bound together,”¹² then should we be more observant of their signs and seasons, days and years?

For now, let us also begin observing the moon to see what she does in relation to 1 Enoch's calendar.
