Millennium: The Beginning & the End?

Have you ever wondered why Satan was to be bound for a 1000 years at the beginning of the Millennium, and then loosed at the end to orchestrate a final rebellion / battle?¹ Could it entail more than just to test the “millennials”?

Here is one man's understanding of why Satan is merely bound for a thousand years and then “loosed for a little season.”

That man may be "without excuse" God is going to subject him to a final test under the most favorable circumstances. Man has charged his fall and continuance in sin to Satan. "Take him away," he cries, "paralyze his power; cripple his malignant activity; bind and imprison him and deliver us from his dominating influence, and then you will see that man is radically good and virtuous and is simply the victim of an unfavorable environment."

God answers it shall be done. Satan shall be bound and imprisoned so that he can no longer deceive men, and lest man shall say that sinful habits are too deeply rooted to be soon eradicated the test shall last for a Thousand Years, and man shall have during that period of probation all the blessed influences of the Holy Spirit and the presence of Christ Himself.

Man has never known and therefore cannot conceive what this world would be like free from Satanic influence. It would certainly be a marvelously different world. There would be no one to stir up hate and passion, and engender strife and turmoil. True, man would still have an evil heart of unbelief to contend against, but it would be like a magazine of gunpowder without a spark to ignite it. That the evil heart of man has not been eradicated will be evident when at the close of the Millennium Satan is loosed and finds no difficulty in deceiving the nations. Rev. 20: 8.² ...

As the evening shadows of the Millennial Day fall, the Angel who imprisoned Satan will unlock the "prison house" of the "Bottomless Pit," and Satan will come forth embittered by his forced confinement to vent his anger upon the people of God, a refutation of the claim that the miseries of perdition will lead to repentance. Satan will still be the same malignant being after his 1000 years of confinement that he was before. His hatred against God and His people will be unquenched.  ...

As soon as Satan is loosed from his prison in the "Bottomless Pit," he will find a vast multitude ready to believe his lie, and to serve and obey him. He will gather them from the "Four Quarters of the Earth" to battle. They will be in number as the "sand of the sea." Rev. 20: 8-9. The revolt will be Worldwide, and will mean the Mobilizing of Vast Armies. Satan will conduct them across the "Breadth of the Earth" until they compass the "Camp of the Saints" (the Holy Land), and lay siege once more to the "Beloved City." From this we see that the unregenerate heart is like a powder magazine, all it needs is a match to set it off, and Satan when freed will be that match. This the "last war" that this world shall ever see, will be bloodless, for the vast armies of Satan shall be destroyed by FIRE.

From this we see that the "Millennial Dispensation," like all the six Dispensations before it, will end in failure [for most]. God will have tested man in "Innocence," under "Conscience," under "Self-Government," under the "Headship of the Family," under "Law," under "Grace," and finally under the influence of the "Holy Spirit," free from Satanic influences, and under them all he will prove himself to be hopelessly, incurably and incorrigibly bad.

If after a 1000 years of the Presence of the King, and of universal peace and blessing, man still persists in rebelling against his Maker, what will there be left for God to do?³

Except, the most important thing, He already accomplished millennia ago, at age 33. The final thing left to do will be the Judgment according to His warning:

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.⁴

So, will this 1000 years finally prove that man is NOT, by nature, radically good and virtuous as so many new-agers and others declare in this age of the “Sovereign Self”? Will we finally see that the lamentations by God and His prophets⁵ throughout the ages were more than justified? understand why the words “Repent” and “Love” occur an identical number of times (628) in our four books of scripture?⁶ Will we at last comprehend that the measure of God's love for us, wretched sinners that we are,⁷ is immeasurable.

BUT, we also must know that despite our wretched natures, we also have the capacity to fill the measure of our creation as measured and assisted by God. We have the ability to choose good over evil, to self-reflect, to forgive, to repent. We have the ability to see through the lies, deceptions, propaganda and recycling ideologies of the Utopians and schemers of every age. We have the unrelenting witness of history that secret combinations continually cycle, intent on the destruction of all that is good.⁸ We have the ability to say NO to the powers⁹ and the Utopians.

Will we, in these days of trial, have the courage and strength to refuse compliance and complicity when the “authorities” / the “powers” claim: 'It is not lawful'¹⁰? Will we be any better in that ending day 1000 years from now? For Whom do we reserve our YESes?

I have been studying & writing about the science and history of power and its abuse for over a decade and feel that a repeat of Ether 8:18-26¹ has come upon us. The agenda of the adversary has always been to destroy² and with our 21st Century reliance on the power-grid, a massive, prolonged failure (for whatever reason: planned? rogue actors? “Nature”?) will facilitate unprecedented destruction as frightened, stressed people, communities, cities, and nations try to cope with the sudden, prolonged LOSS of

▪ home / water heating, lighting, cooking, freezers, fridges
▪ transportation (vehicle electronics, fuel pumping & access, food transport & access)
▪ banking, price scanning, buying & selling transactions
▪ many hospital & emergency services, water pumping, sewage treatment
▪ manufacturing, business, & school capability
▪ etc.

Power generators might help some cope for a time, but limited access to fuel along with “shelter-in-place” orders, lock-downs, travel bans & restrictions, food & fuel shortages, etc. will throw much of the world into utter chaos and despair, ready to accept any “saving” man or plan. The set-up and scenario for an agenda of tyranny and destruction is upon us which is just a replay of destruction that has been used many times (Jaredites, Nephites, 70AD Jerusalem, 16th-20th Century Europe & Asia, 1860s U.S. Civil War, etc.), but now with the 21st Century there are added components of surveillance, technology, and weaponry.

You may feel this is all conspiracy theory, but these are two truths that we will someday realize to the full:

1. Until we acknowledge that the obsessive pursuit and protection of power, gain, and glory has plagued every age of history, we will never understand the events of our time.

2. The science of health* is overwhelmingly against masking, isolation, distancing, lockdown,* etc., etc., while the science of behavior- and mind-control is obsessively pro-mask, pro-isolation, pro-distancing, pro-lockdown, pro-fear, pro-tyranny.

This appeal is not meant to frighten, but to raise awareness of where we are at, and to help us prepare so that we can be of help to those for whom a catastrophic, prolonged power-grid failure will come as if out-of-the-blue; as a paralyzing crisis of survival and faith.

Which Science?

Déjà Vu: Ben-hadad*?

And what are the unfolding events of our time? In the end, it will entail the conversion of men, women, and children into property. Such has always been the overarching passion of the ever-present Domination System that has always energized the natural man. We can pretend for a little longer that conversion is not happening, but the Powers in every land are already speaking in the 800 B.C. language of Ben-hadad.

Is this not like unto the 2020 language of The Great Reset? the COVID-19 mandates? Agenda 21 & 2030? (Look them up!) And what has been the majority response, thus far? How many are obedient believers in the pursuers and protectors of power, gain, and glory? masked-up? waiting anxiously for “saving” vaccines? crying out for more rigid controls? demanding greater protection from the selfish “disobedient”?

Where are all the elders, all the people, and a prophet like those that counselled Ahab to resist the conversion?² 

For those who are willing to look beyond the Power narrative that floods the MSM, the satanic conversion (with the witting or unwitting aid of presidents, prime ministers, governors, premiers, other “public servants,” and distracted, deceived believers) is unrolling so rapidly it is stunning.

The Seven Ages of the Church?

How many layers of application might John's Letters to the Seven Churches¹ have? After a recent encounter with a 1919 book, there appears to be at least four, being application:

1. to the original seven churches;
2. to individual men and women in every age (including in our capacity as stewards / leaders / servants);
3. to individual congregations;
4. as a prophetic outline of the Church ages from Apostle John to the present day.

I explored application two in a 2011 post titled: Which Church? (Questions for the latter-day believer),² but this past week I encountered the "prophetic view of the Church" in Rev. Clarence Larkin's 1919 book, The Book of Revelation, wherein he states:

[Revelation] chapters two and three, must be a description or prophetic outline of the "Spiritual History" of the Church from the time when John wrote the Book in A. D. 96, down to the taking out of the Church, or else we have no "prophetic view" of the Church during that period, for she disappears from the earth at the close of chapter three, and is not seen again until she reappears with her Lord in chapter nineteen.³

Larkin describes and dates the seven Church periods / ages as:

I. The Church At Ephesus (A Backslidden Church.) Rev. 2: 1-7.
    70–170 A.D.
II. The Church At Smyrna (A Persecuted Church.) Rev. 2: 8-11.
     170–312 A.D.

VII. The Church at Laodicea (A Lukewarm Church.) Rev. 3: 14-22.

Larkin further explains and cautions:

This interpretation of the "Messages to the Seven Churches" was hidden to the early Church, because time was required for Church History to develop and be written, so a comparison could be made to reveal the correspondence. If it had been clearly revealed that the Seven Churches stood for "Seven Church Periods" that would have to elapse before Christ could come back, the incentive to watch would have been absent.
While the character of these Seven Churches is descriptive of the Church during seven periods of her history, we must not forget that the condition of those churches, as described, were their exact condition in John's day. So we see that at the close of the First Century the leaven of "False Doctrine" was at work in the Churches. The churches are given in the order named, because the peculiar characteristic of that Church applied to the period of Church History to which it is assigned. It also must not be forgotten, that, that which is a distinctive characteristic of each Church Period, does not disappear with that Period, but continues on down through the next Period, and so on until the end, thus increasing the imperfections of the visible Church, until it ends in an open Apostasy, ..."⁴

Larkin's observations about all seven ages and their regressive, cumulative nature are thought-provoking and worthy of study. And as we are, allegedly, in Period VII, I include a few of his Period VII observations:

Our churches today are largely in this "lukewarm" condition. There is very little of warm-hearted spirituality. There is much going on in them, but it is largely mechanical and of a social character. Committees, societies, and clubs are multiplied, but there is an absence of "spiritual heat." Revival meetings are held, but instead of waiting on the Lord for power, evangelists and paid singers are hired and soul winning is made a business. The cause of this "lukewarmness" is the same as that of the Church of Laodicea--Self-Deception.⁵

The Church at Laodicea was not burdened with debt, but it was burdened with WEALTH.⁶

The trouble with the Church of Laodicea was that its "Gold" was not of the right kind, and so it was counseled to buy of the Lord "gold tried in the fire." What kind of gold is that? It is gold that has no taint upon it. Gold that is not cankered, or secured by fraud, or the withholding of a just wage. What a description we have of these Laodicean days in James 5: 1-4. But the Church of Laodicea was not only poor, though rich, it was blind. Or to put it more accurately--" Near-Sighted." They could see their worldly prosperity, but were "Short-Sighted" as to heavenly things, so the Lord counseled them to anoint their eyes with "Eye-Salve." Their merchants dealt in ointments and herbs of a high degree of healing virtue, but they possessed no salve that would restore impaired Spiritual Vision, only the Unction of the Holy One could do that.⁷

Then a most startling revelation was made to the Church of Laodicea, Christ said--
"Behold, I Stand at the Door and Knock."
These words are generally quoted as an appeal to sinners, but they are not, they are addressed to a Church, and to a Church in whose midst Christ had once stood, but now found Himself excluded and standing outside knocking for admittance. This is the most startling thing recorded in the New Testament, that it is possible for a church to be outwardly prosperous and yet have no Christ in its midst, and be unconscious of the fact. This is a description of a Christless Church. Oh, the EXCLUDED CHRIST.
Excluded from His own nation, for they Rejected Him; excluded from the world, for it Crucified Him; excluded from His Church, for He stands outside its door Knocking for Entrance. How did Christ come to be outside the Church? He had been within it once or there never would have been a Church. How did He come to leave? It is clear that they had not thrust Him out, for they do not seem to have missed His presence. They continued to worship Him, to sing His praises, and engage in all manner of Christian service, yet He had withdrawn. Why? The reason is summed up in one word--Worldliness.
But how is Christ to get back into His Church? Does it require the unanimous vote or invitation of the membership? No. "If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." That is the way to revive a lukewarm church is for the individual members to open their hearts and let Christ re-enter, and thus open the door for His reappearance. The character of the Church today is Laodicean, and as the Laodicean Period is to continue until the Church of the "New-Born" is taken out, we cannot hope for any great change until the Lord comes back.⁸

Could there be anything in Larkin's 1919 observations to provoke our 2020 self-reflection? our self-awareness? our repentance?

Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land; And as pertaining to law of man, whatsoever is more or less than this, cometh of evil.¹

So who is befriending the Constitution and its principles? Who is exposing the “more” that is destroying rights and freedoms? Who is calling for accountability for the evil that is rolling like a worldwide tsunami of destruction?

Thankfully, a few good people² are rising up with options but we will not hear about them from the (bought-and-paid-for) MSM or the gainsaying-of-truth “authorities.”

There is a man, Christopher James, who has collected / catalogued the witness of many truth tellers³ who are being censored and maligned because they were gainsaying the authorities, the power-brokers, the profiteers.⁴ But this man has also conceived a way forward out of the abyss that we have fallen into by believing the lying wonders⁵ of the servitors of a Domination System (a term he does not yet use, but that I do); a Domination System that has now perfected its opportunities for total world control thru co-opted, corrupted science and technology.

Christopher James is not the first man to investigate this great fraud perpetuated on people all over the world, but he has devised and begun a plan of action that will expose the fraud and collapse the (IL)Legal, (Un)Civil System upon itself.

The Domination System has, in secret, converted people into property that can be ordered about, managed, and commercialized at the will of the Domination System. Service Corporations of all kinds (including local and state governments) have converted themselves into masters with one-sided Terms of Service agreements, regulations, orders, demands, and on and on. Much of the fraudulent conversion seems unbelievable, but consider our present world, where quarantine, masking, distancing, gathering, no singing, vaccination are all being mandated as if people were property owned by someone or something. Have we not already been warned that in the last days, the souls of men [and women] would be just one more commodity for the merchants of the world?⁶

Let us open out minds, hearts, and resources to investigate and support this warrior's global call to and action for freedom and accountability. Although the initiative was begun in Canada, it is generating worldwide off-shoots.

Addendum 26 Oct. 2020: As always, we must proceed with discernment per some of the above assertions, BUT the science and history of power (of the ubiquitous Domination System) and its obsession with converting humans into property has been manifest in every age. Domination is exactly what is happening in this 2020 crisis. People are being treated as property – ordered about as if livestock. WE are not livestock. Let us not be distracted by convoluted definitions of “common law.” It is simple. Men and women are not property. WE have inalienable rights and freedoms. Governments (service corporations) were created by men and women to protect those rights and freedoms and to help protect their lawful property. Employees of these service corporations have duties and obligations not to commit trespass against another's property or to try to administer another's property without right. And each employee is personally liable for any trespass.

With a Voice of Singing*

In our local paper this week, a front-page headline read:

“Alberta loosens rules for singing ...”

The column text read in part:

“... top doctor says people can sing and play wind instruments indoors once again, provided COVID-19 precautions are in place. / ... says those activities were severely restricted because they were thought ^[1] to poise unique risks of spreading the virus. / But she says new evidence shows they can be done safely with certain safeguards. // ... Choirs can restart with maximum size limits and masks, but audience singing is still not allowed.” (Bold emphasis added.)

Not allowed?! Is such a continuing ban conceivable? YET it is mandated — in many places all over the world! Even in our world-wide, choir-famous church! And we acquiesce?!²

Do we not understand the everlasting role of singing in God's kingdom? that the song of the righteous is a prayer unto [God]?³ perhaps the most powerful prayer considering the hundreds of references in scripture and prophecy to singing?⁴ Have we ever witnessed the incredible power of hymns, spirituals, and other songs to change ambience; strengthen endurance; lift souls; even perhaps, precipitate an earthquake when it was needed?⁵

Is the ban on singing because of COVID or about something else? What if singing could change the world? What if the most powerful prayer is the song and we have gone silent? What if all the outrage, cursing, cries, and so forth at protests and marches were channeled, instead, into songs of faith, hope, charity, and rejoicing in the strength of unity? Could it change the mood of protesters, enforcers, and perhaps even counter-protesters?

What if gifted choirs and vocalists would gather as flash mobs⁶ all over the world at capitol buildings, parks, city squares, corporate / media offices, “elite” conferences, freedom / protest marches, and so forth, and sing songs of hope and joy, (including, where appropriate, songs of praise for the God of Heaven, the Creator of Heaven and Earth)? songs of rejoicing in life and freedoms — not dirges of piety or judgment, but upbeat songs, from whatever source or time, that lift the soul? Could such songs soften the hearts of “authorities,” leaders, planners, protesters? Could composers and lyricists rise to the challenge? grant rights to activists / marchers / flash mobs to perform already existing works that “cry freedom”? (Perhaps we could begin with Bobby Darin's “Simple Song of Freedom”  —  Della Reese style.)

And maybe, just maybe, song could inspire renewed courage to stand for rights and freedoms in leaders who have been compromised or fear-driven to the point they feel no choice but to “obey orders” from behind-the-scenes “superiors”? Instead of cursing at seeming or budding tyrants, could we sing rousing songs of freedom and encouragement for them to stand with integrity? Let them know we understand the over-arching tyranny that rules them, even as presidents, prime ministers, premiers, governors, et al., but that the tyranny that rules them does not justify their passing it down? Remind them that our commitment to honoring obeying, or sustaining law applies only to Constitutional law and to the service of honest, wise, and good men and women?⁷ Could we even ferret out the controlling insiders and “plague” them with song? Instead of chanting robotic phrases, let us sing great songs that stir the soul.

Perhaps singing would prove the greatest protest strategy of all time and result in calling God out of His hiding place to end the evils that the weaknesses and obsessions of mankind have brought to such a point as this escalating world-wide tyranny.

Let us remember:

Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter to the end of the earth; say ye: The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.⁸

[and] he inviteth ... all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.⁹

1. Do you not see? Evidence had no role in this initial rule. It was merely thought and the prohibition descended against singing, which could be argued is, the most powerful form of worship and means to invite the Spirit of God. Under this contagion rule, when will it ever be safe to sing again in congregation or choir? Fear of contagion, natural or manufactured, has become the perfect control vehicle.

We believe it just to preach the gospel to the nations of the earth, and warn the righteous to save themselves from the corruption of the world; but we do not believe it right to interfere with bond–servants, neither preach the gospel to, nor baptize them contrary to the will and wish of their masters, nor to meddle with or influence them in the least to cause them to be dissatisfied with their situations in this life, thereby jeopardizing the lives of men; such interference we believe to be unlawful and unjust, and dangerous to the peace of every government allowing human beings to be held in servitude. [But see D&C 98:5-10 above about the rejection of human bondage. Research Joseph Smith's  proposal to end slavery in America by the government purchasing their freedom in the hopes of ending the practice peacefully.]
