Perhaps, sooner than we think.

IF these verses below describe the state of our world, or even more archetypically, the state of the USA¹ (in this alleged season² of joy and peace) — then a word common to them all may reveal not how soon, but how:

5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

12 ¶ A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 ¶ These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;

23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

1 HE, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. (Old Testament | Proverbs 29:1-2)

12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. (Old Testament | Ecclesiastes 9:12)

5 Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.
6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
7 ¶ And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

26 ¶ O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
27 I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.
28 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.
29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies. (Old Testament | Jeremiah 51:8-9)

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Suddenly does not allow for further opportunity to awaken,³ to prepare, to repent — all of which we have been commanded to do.

Just a quick post for those who are exploring God's “signs, seasons, days, and years.”¹

Since God has oft been precise in marking seasons, days, and years for His feasts, celebrations, Sabbaths, Jubilees, etc. it seems logical that the adversary of all Good should seek to change or confuse time, even as prophesied;² so could there be some truth in the following vlog posts even if we do not agree with or understand all that is presented or believed by this vlogger? And as we explore each others' ideas, let us remember that God sometimes “shows forth His wisdom through the weak things of the earth.”³

Did you know?

On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress asked Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams to draft a great seal for the newly declared United States of America?¹ With the help of artist, Pierre Eugène Du Simitière, the named committee drafted a doubled-sided proposal. The proposed front side of Simitière's sketch can be seen here,² but the reverse side was described only in words:

Pharaoh sitting in an open Chariot, a Crown on his head and a Sword in his hand, passing through the divided Waters of the Red Sea in Pursuit of the Israelites: Rays from a Pillar of Fire in the Cloud, expressive of the divine Presence and Command, beaming on Moses who stands on the shore and extending his hand over the Sea causes it to overwhelm Pharaoh. Motto: Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God."³

“On August 20, 1776, the committee presented their report to Congress. The committee members chose du Simitière's design, though it was changed [by Congress]. ... For the reverse, Franklin's design of Moses parting the Red Sea was [presented]. Congress was however not impressed, and on the same day ordered that the report "lie on the table", ending the work of the committee.”⁴

Obviously, that first committee intended to send a message to the abusive powers of its day (“Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God”), and perhaps even as a warning to its own peoples and governments, then and future.

As we can see, this Exodus theme of fleeing from oppression or power abuse is pervasive in scripture:

▪ Terah from Ur of the Chaldees⁵
▪ Abraham from Haran⁶
▪ Jaredites from the tower of Babel wickedness and confusion⁷
▪ House of Omer from secret combinations⁸
▪ Lehi from the corruption in Jerusalem⁹
▪ People of Mulek (People of Zarahemla)¹⁰
▪ Nephi (and followers) from his brothers' anger and abuse¹¹
▪ King Mosiah from warfare¹²
▪ Alma from king Noah's thugs¹³
▪ Limhi from Lamanite oppression¹⁴
▪ Alma from Lamanite oppression¹⁵
▪ LDS from Nauvoo to Salt Lake Valley to escape persecution¹⁶

And this is not even to list Noah's unique exodus.¹⁷ So how many other stories in history, written and unwritten, repeat the Exodus theme that Benjamin Franklin sought to memorialize in the new nation's seal? Is that why God commanded Moses and future generations to remember every anniversary of the Passover and Exodus — ​a reminder how quickly powers can corrupt themselves and bring oppression? Was Franklin being unwittingly prescient to have subsequently observed to his daughter on January 26, 1784?

“For my own part I wish the Bald Eagle had not been chosen the Representative of our Country. He is a Bird of bad moral Character. He does not get his Living honestly. You may have seen him perched on some dead Tree near the River, where, too lazy to fish for himself, he watches the Labour of the Fishing Hawk; and when that diligent Bird has at length taken a Fish, and is bearing it to his Nest for the Support of his Mate and young Ones, the Bald Eagle pursues him and takes it from him.”¹⁸

Perhaps we have so many examples of Exodus in history, of both groups and individuals, because oppression and power abuse perpetually recycle because of the nature of man.¹⁹

O, that knowledge of these repeating cycles had alerted everyone to the techniified agendas and purposes of these past three years.

O, that everyone could see that global tyranny is not just in the wings, but crowding center stage.

O, that everyone would awaken, repent, and act with conviction and courage.

Lukewarn*? Shortsighted?

Is it time to review the prophetic outline of our spiritual history as churches, (and perhaps, too, as individuals, peoples, and nations)? Two years ago, Deja Vu - Tiimes II quoted Clarence Larkin's view of that prophetic outline.¹ In speaking of the 7th church, Laodicea, he wrote:

The Church at Laodicea was not burdened with debt, but it was burdened with WEALTH.²

The trouble with the Church of Laodicea was that its "Gold" was not of the right kind, and so it was counseled to buy of the Lord "gold tried in the fire." What kind of gold is that? It is gold that has no taint upon it. Gold that is not cankered, or secured by fraud, or the withholding of a just wage. What a description we have of these Laodicean days in James 5: 1-4^[3]. But the Church of Laodicea was not only poor, though rich, it was blind. Or to put it more accurately--" Near-Sighted." They could see their worldly prosperity, but were "Short-Sighted" as to heavenly things, so the Lord counseled them to anoint their eyes with "Eye-Salve." Their merchants dealt in ointments and herbs of a high degree of healing virtue, but they possessed no salve that would restore impaired Spiritual Vision, only the Unction of the Holy One could do that.⁴

So, where are we in the prophetic outline?

In reviewing recent events (e.g., G20⁵ in Bali), we see how this lukewarm, shortsighted malady extends beyond churches to encompass our present government “leaders” and those who blindly accept their narratives. How many are familiar with the G20 declaration concerning the next (planned?) pandemic. We have become so lukewarm and shortsighted about constitutional freedoms that our leaders (with hardly a peep from the majority of their peoples) have all signed a G20 declaration for a unified, global (sovereignty-destroying) approach to keep the “obedient” safe. Such is the great, spoken promise of the great reset: “We shall keep you safe and well and happy.”⁶ However, the mostly unspoken, but mandatory corollary is: It shall be done through a certification strategy applicable to every human [meaning the implementation of SICO⁷ scoring]. What better description can we find to explain the last three years than this?

23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

What is God seeing as He looks down upon us? Is He seeing a vigorous, courageous, unrelenting  defense of the rights and freedoms that He inspired men and women to enshrine in Constitutions and Bills / Charters / Declarations of Human Rights? Do we care that our governments have signed a declaration that shuffles our rights off to un-elected, agenda-driven “experts” and profiteers? Do we not already have sufficient witness in history and scripture⁹ of the conniving  nature of power, gain, and domination that we will be left without excuse for blindness? Once again, we are cycling into another oppressive serfdom like unto the Israelites in Egypt; like unto the end of king Solomon's reign; like unto the oppressive regimes of every tyrannical leader from tribal to vast empire.

Let us stand out with the likes of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-nego, Abinadi, Peter, Paul, hundreds of others, and most important of all, the Savior himself.¹⁰

The Mahan Strategy*?

Subtitle: “Conscious Creation of American Empire”¹

Many of us recognize the word Mahan from:

31 And Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan, and he gloried in his wickedness. (Pearl of Great Price | Moses 5:31)

But how many know the key role that Alfred Thayer Mahan² (1840 – 1914) played in pivoting the United States toward an obsession with Empire and all that empire building entails when it becomes an obsession?

Here is the account in brief (bold emphasis added):

While [Frederick Jackson] Turner^[3] provided the idea for an empire, Mahan provided the more practical guide. In his 1890 work, The Influence of Seapower upon History, he suggested three strategies that would assist the United States in both constructing and maintaining an empire. First, noting the sad state of the U.S. Navy, he called for the government to build a stronger, more powerful version. Second, he suggested establishing a network of naval bases to fuel this expanding fleet. Seward’s previous acquisition of the Midway Islands served this purpose by providing an essential naval coaling station, which was vital, as the limited reach of steamships and their dependence on coal made naval coaling stations imperative for increasing the navy’s geographic reach. Future acquisitions in the Pacific and Caribbean increased this naval supply network (Figure 22.5) Finally, Mahan urged the future construction of a canal across the isthmus of Central America, which would decrease by two-thirds the time and power required to move the new navy from the Pacific to the Atlantic oceans. Heeding Mahan’s advice, the government moved quickly, passing the Naval Act of 1890, which set production levels for a new, modern fleet. By 1898, the government had succeeded in increasing the size of the U.S. Navy to an active fleet of 160 vessels, of which 114 were newly built of steel. In addition, the fleet now included six battleships, compared to zero in the previous decade. As a naval power, the country catapulted to the third strongest in world rankings by military experts, trailing only Spain and Great Britain.⁴

With the rhetoric of Fredrick J. Turner and the strategies of Alfred Mahan underpinning the desire for expansion abroad, the country moved quickly to ready itself for the creation of an American empire.⁵

Soon Spain was disposed of as the US went island hopping and mopping up. See the 10 targets illustrated in red on the map: Figure 22.5 here⁶ which is captained:

Note how the spread of island acquisitions across the Pacific Ocean fulfills Alfred Mahan’s call for more naval bases in order to support a larger and more effective U.S. Navy rather than mere territorial expansion.⁷

Thus, the Mahan strategy has brought us to our present state where we openly brag of lying, cheating, stealing,⁸ [and murdering, if the truth were fully told]. We the People of the Books and of this nation must not forget the fallen Jaredites and Nephites who once occupied the Americas — “a land which is choice above all the lands of the earth.”⁹

And if we think NA lands will be spared the devastations of coming cataclysms, we fail to grasp the use of archetypes in prophecy. The sins and obsessions of US powers are exhaustively documented for those with the integrity to see and hear.¹⁰ This land has been enormously blessed, but in return we have spread over the entire world a spirit of Domination and secret combinations. And even with all our achievements, we do not yet rank with the greatness of the Jaredites (review footnote 9) who were destroyed.

Yes, the U.S. has blessed the world in many ways, but the weighing of good and evil is not a balancing act.¹¹ The spread of Mahanic evil  over the past century (plus) has become a second flood, overwhelming much of the good once done. In our present denials and self-deceptions, this nation will fare little better than the Jaredites unless we turn back with haste to divinely-directed principles and values.

Déjà Vu: the Doctrine of Balaam*? the Doctrine of the Nicolaitans*?

Another parallel?

The doctrines referred to in this post title and in Old Testament Numbers 31:16 and New Testament Revelation 2¹ were the means “to cast a stumbling block” before God's covenant people. And considering that stumbling blocks come in all shapes and sizes, how might those doctrines be manifesting in our tech-saturated world?

I think most of us already know that we have ported many abominable doctrines directly into our homes for decades (subtly, at first) woven in amongst the news and entertainments of television programming. And programming is the operative word. We gradually accepted devolving standards until now we have the internet and the wild-west of western TikTok, a social-media platform, created in the east.²

60 Minutes Australia did a recent segment that is available in some countries,³ detailing the eastern and western versions of TikTok with a short trailer available here.⁴

Recent headlines include:

▪ China Is Attempting To Influence US Kids By Offering An ‘Opium Version’ Of TikTok, Expert Says⁵
▪ TikTok is China’s Trojan Horse⁶

But should we blame China for the different versions or is this broader than China? The doctrine of Balaam existed before China. The doctrine of Balaam was to distract, entrance, and seduce covenant people into breaking covenant and thus, weaken them from the inside out. And whether China and friends have an agenda to weaken and destroy the western world, the western world has manifest, for decades, a myopia, a self-deception, and almost a death-wish in pursuing the pride cycle⁷ — in manifesting the grandiosity, narcissism, and psychopathy of “unimpeachable” superiority. Remember ex-CiA chief, Mike Pompeo, who crowed to an applauding audience: “We lied; we cheated; we stole; [we ... (fill in the m-word he held back)].”⁸ Consider how we re-elect / re-appoint, time after time, so many Right AND Left representatives who lie, cheat, steal, and endorse killing with recycling impunity. (BUT for how much longer?)

The doctrines of old — the severing of words from actions and meaning; the delusions of smoothing hypocrisies — are now tightly woven into the fabric of our countries and governance. With our mouths we espouse human rights and values, but in our actions and policies, we do the inverse. We live the lie. We pursue the lie. We believe the lie. We demand others believe it, too.

We cherish and safe-guard lie-porting devices, not just in our homes, but carry them constantly in our hands, pockets, purses, and packs. And YES, yes, there is much good we can access and do via these devices, but do we ever analyze or ask: What is the majority of my use? for the good or for the ill? as a stepping stone or a stumbling block?

Do we have the courage to investigate ourselves, individually and collectively?

Blind to Parallels?

Last Sunday, I listened (via zoom) to a lesson based on Daniel 3 (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego) and 6 (Daniel in the den of lions). As I listened to the teachers and to class comments, I wondered if any latter-day parallels (recent mandates) would be acknowledged. I did not hear any, and I wonder if it is even possible to discuss mandate parallels in the divisive, fearful climate that has been created in the last two plus years.

Of course, our recent test¹ did not amount [or did it?] to a burning fiery furnace, but can we not see any example or parallel? We were not faced (this time around) with imminent death for refusing to obey authorities or alleged experts, but many experienced significant loss of freedoms and livelihood; discrimination and invective²; and the “fury” of some leaders, enforcers, and narrative believers who were alarmed or terrified by MSM reports (and distortions).

But what is the purpose of scripture and history, if not to acknowledge the examples and parallels for our day?

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace [or any other unlawful order or power abuse or lie], and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image [of pscience³] which thou hast set up.
19 ¶ Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: (Old Testament | Daniel 3:16-19)

Millions of us have witnessed:

▪ how the visage of presidents, prime ministers, and others was changed in a matter of days against those refusing experimental vaccination;

▪ how once respected citizens were suddenly anathema — despised as selfish, unchristian, morally deficient, anti-science, etc. by leaders, family, friends, and others (review footnote 2);

▪ how all the admirable progress of the last half-century toward more universal equity and justice has been suddenly upended by an oppressive, bullying, cultural shift.

And what of Daniel who, with his friends, had the wisdom and courage to refuse the king's food? or to disrespect the king's decree forbidding prayer [religious gathering?] (Old Testament | Daniel 6:7)?

On the other hand, how many latter-day authorities, professionals, enforcers, and others have been caught unwittingly in a power-grab conspiracy, not unlike the entrapment of king Darius?

3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
4 ¶ Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.
16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
18 ¶ Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him. (Old Testament | Daniel 6:3–18)

How many parallels might we be missing?

Now two questions for those who still believe the COVID narrative⁴ or the predictive programming of more illness to come; or that safety ranks above freedom; or that contagion risk makes our day unique and, thus, has nothing in common with Daniel. Consider:

▪ if CV were a conspiracy⁵ of power to destroy human rights and freedoms and God's creation;
▪ if Pharma corps have already been fined billions for fraud⁶;
▪ if many pro-experimental-vax advocates are heavily invested in Pharma shares or lucrative patents;
▪ if more illness is undoubtedly coming because the CV power-grab and the public's conversion to pscience and fear was so enormously successful;

then, 1) how can you know whether the unexplained increases in death⁷ and illness are another CV variant OR intentional fallout from the experimental alleged cure? and 2) will your continued support or belief have consequence⁸?

At some point each individual will have a choice to forgive or not the injuries or harms they individually suffered, but to forget as a society is to invite egregious repetition.
