If ever there were a déjà vu that we persist in NOT seeing, it might be the pervasive satanic presence, power, and abuse that infiltrates nigh every aspect of our various cultures.

Why are we so blind and amnesic? Aren't we—as believing Christians—supposed to be versed in, learn from, and apply² history and scripture? YET, we seem to ignore, ridicule, or reject mounting evidence of latter-day, horrific crimes against God’s “little ones”—crimes of child sacrifice—crimes and abominations that have plagued mankind in every age—abominations prophesied to flood the earth in the last days.

So if we think:

▪ we are too sophisticated in these latter days to be ensnared in ancient abominations;³
▪ that modern elites and power-brokers could never be like unto the elites and power-brokers of past times;
▪ that victim statements about satanic ritual abuse (SRA) are too bizarre, unbelievable,⁴ and ghastly to warrant honest, fearless investigation;
▪ that we can ignore documented evidence without personal consequence;
▪ that rampant SRA and human sacrifice within the borders of developed nations is ludicrous;

THEN, we had better take time out from distractions and denials and begin to know the reality of the past and the present. (Scriptural bold emphasis added.)

Human / Child Sacrifice

[Abraham:] My fathers, having turned from their righteousness, and from the holy commandments which the Lord their God had given unto them, unto the worshiping of the gods of the heathen, utterly refused to hearken to my voice; For their hearts were set to do evil, and were wholly turned to the god of Elkenah, and the god of Libnah, and the god of Mahmackrah, and the god of Korash, and the god of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; Therefore they turned their hearts to the sacrifice of the heathen in offering up their children unto these dumb idols, and hearkened not unto my voice, but endeavored to take away my life by the hand of the priest of Elkenah. 4. Actually designed by abusers and their master Lucifer to be unbelievable. Are we so obtuse we can't comprehend that part of victimization is to so terrorize, warp, distort, and confuse experience, particularly of children, that memories are too incredible to be believed?
5. A Canaanite god associated with child sacrifice. Most of the references to idolatry in history and scripture entail child and human sacrifice. It was a constant plague in all ages, lamented continually by God and His prophets.
6. Just review history and scripture. They are full of conspiracies: e.g.: selling Joseph into Egypt; Balak & Balaam; Deliah v. Samson; the plot exposed by Mordecai; Haman’s agenda; Daniel & the lions’ den; Salome & Herodias v. John the Baptist; Pharisees v. Jesus; etc., etc., etc., not to mention all the secular kings & queens, popes and presidents; CEOs and muckrakers who will stand as accused or witness in the last judgment.

The Sleep of Hell?

O that ye would awake; awake from a deep sleep, yea, even from the sleep of hell, and shake off the awful chains by which ye are bound, which are the chains which bind the children of men, that they are carried away captive down to the eternal gulf of misery and woe. (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 1:13, bold emphasis added)

From my observations, most of us seem deeply asleep to the primary crisis of every age; to the déjà vu story of power and gain—despite scriptural witnesses and warnings.¹

WHEN will we, God-loving people, admit to the psychopathy of power and gain that is inherent in our economic system? Korihor put it succinctly:

And many more such things did he [Korihor] say unto them, telling them that there could be no atonement made for the sins of men, but every man fared in this life according to the management of the creature; therefore every man prospered according to his genius, and that every man conquered according to his strength; and whatsoever a man did was no crime. (Book of Mormon | Alma 30:17)

So when we hear appalling stories involving corruption, crime, and conspiracy by those pursuing power and gain, why do so many of us bury our head in the sands of denial? Why are we so prone to ignore (even side with, support with our $$, own shares in) powers that pursue self-interest and criminal intent at others' expense and harm? Why so prone to trust in the arm of flesh and the propaganda / disinformation of “professionals” and mammon-bloated bullies? Why so enamored still with the frauds of Randian philosophy?² Why do we continually cavort (without consciousness) in the boudoirs of Babylon never acknowledging the great deception / distraction we have fallen heir to?³

And why do we so readily believe or join in the castigation of “tinfoil-hatters,”⁴ and “conspiracy nut-cases” when

» corporate culture;
» whistle-blowing;
» crime chronicles;
» court-room transcripts;
» plots of plays, novels, movies;
» real-life experience;
» etc., etc.

are glutted with tales of conspiracy by those protecting or pursuing power and gain?

Two current, high-profile, critical exposés of latter-day corruption, crime, and conspiracy concern vaccines⁵ and geoengineering⁶ which the Powers-that-believe-in-power-and-gain-above-all-else are, at this very moment, passionately denying and mocking.

If we

▪ sleep through these times;
▪ refuse to honestly look at the evidence;
▪ prefer to trust in the systems of the world;
▪ wait for other voices to speak out first;
▪ think that God is going to take care of it all without reviewing individual accountability;
▪ remain silent in the fear of “What will become of me?” (if I speak up / take a stand?)

should we be shocked if we find ourselves standing accused as accomplices at the pleading bar of God in a day not so far away?

Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up. Jesus: à la mode*?

(Some questions for latter-day Christians.)

Do we accept Jesus in whole or in part?

I ask this first question for three reasons:

1) in Jesus’ day, mental and physical illnesses were often recognized as having an oppositional base—illness being associated with possession by devils or unclean spirits; health and wellness with Christ’s power in casting them out;¹

2) in our “modern” day, devils have gone out of fashion because science does not approve of such “other dimensional” influences, although in more recent years, multiple dimensions are becoming acceptable, except for the possibility of devils.²

3) many persons, in describing their mental illnesses,³ speak of hearing voices and experiencing real sensations of darkness, oppression,⁴ emptiness, sadness, worthlessness, hopelessness, inability to act, and so forth.

So my other questions are these:

▪ Where are these voices coming from?

▪ Why do we seem so afraid to entertain the possibility that they might originate with devils, demons, or unclean spirits?⁵

▪ Are we afraid to admit that most of us are possessed in some degree or other with unclean spirits generating unwanted thoughts, feelings, desires, fears, and dysfunctions because of one or more conditions of

▫ the flesh?⁶
▫ the natural man?⁷
▫ our lost and fallen state?⁸
▫ our cultural tendency to trust in the arm of flesh?
▫ our willful or innocent choices in what we watch, read, listen to, or dwell on?
▫ unhealthy feelings, emotions, and desires we have entertained or pursued?
▫ traumatic experiences of violence, drug abuse, psychotropic use, etc.?⁹
▫ things we have never reconciled with God?

▪ If there are demonic whisperers,¹⁰ would it help sufferers to acknowledge the real source of these voices—in the spirit of Christ’s knowledge of disease and healing?

▪ Would it help to know that the adversary is more attracted to—perhaps obsessed with—people who are striving to do and be good, than ones who are not? (Remember Biblical Job.)

▪ Would it help to remember the Lord’s case-by-case perspective on illness?¹¹

▪ If Jesus’ words and actions reveal the true base of illness, does it give us more hope and more power to act¹² than when we struggle against nebulous, mysterious, mis-named, or ancillary causes?

▪ Would it help to recognize that physical and mental illness is one of the adversary’s tactics to spread misery?—to captivate body and soul?—to destroy the world?¹³—but that there is a power and grace to overcome all things in the Lord’s due time?

These things I [Jesus] have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (New Testament | John 16:33)

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (New Testament | 1 John 4:4)

He that is faithful and endureth shall overcome the world. (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 63:47)

▪ Would it help if those professing Christ’s power had the knowledge, understanding, faith,¹⁴ and courage to speak of devils and unclean spirits, and to use priesthood power as Christ did?—rebuking and casting out?¹⁵

▪ If Christ is displeased when we deny His power,¹⁶ is He also displeased when we discount, neglect, or deny the influence and power of the adversary¹⁷ (the opposition) in our attempts to understand, counsel, support, and heal sufferers?

▪ In this age of increasing mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical illness; of bullying, abuse, and violence in families, towns, cities, and nations; of cyber-stalking and trolling: Are we compounding the suffering of ourselves and others by putting our faith, trust, and belief in science, culture, medicine, Big Business, and à la mode* ideas about sickness and health?

Opposition is part of this life.¹⁸ It comes in different forms, at different times to every soul. Peter warned us:

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (New Testament | 1 Peter 4:12-13)

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (New Testament | 1 Peter 5:6-10)

Paul warned us:

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (New Testament | Ephesians 6:11-13)

John the Beloved counseled:

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. (New Testament | Revelation 2:10-11)

Helaman said:

[R]emember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. (Book of Mormon | Helaman 5:12)

So my last questions are:

▪ Why is it that we seem to have so thoroughly expunged Jesus’ sickness and health paradigm not only from our everyday lives, but from discussion, discourse, and writing?

▪ If we turn our back on the real enemy and keep jousting with shadows, is it any wonder that pain and suffering endure?—sometimes beyond endurance?

▪ Would we find a new power of understanding, help, endurance, and healing if we took Jesus at His word?

Cautions: 1) Do not take this as wholesale denouncement of modern-day science or medicine. They have their proper role and place, but should they occupy first place where many of us seem to have positioned them? especially when we completely ignore the initial step in Christ’s process for healing? And 2) Do not single-out others to accuse of possession. Satan is the god of this world¹⁹ and is everywhere doing his work, so remember:

... Why is it that thou beholdest the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (New Testament, JST, Matthew 7:4)

Arm of Flesh?

As I interact with Christian family and friends, I am continually amazed at how so many of us seem to trust in the arm of flesh without question or awareness. And how stiffnecked many of us become when someone tries to awaken us to our “awful situation.”¹

Take for example the current controversy surrounding the recent documentary, Vaxxed.²

Could this exposé of vaccine fraud be a classic, tragic example of how we have trusted in the arm of flesh to our immense harm?—how most doctors, nurses, parents, scientists, and other citizens have willfully chosen to believe the propaganda and outright lies of mega-corps obsessed with power and gain despite warning voices?

Warnings of corporate psychopathy have filled our headlines for decades,³ yet we carry on trusting, as if these were infrequent aberrations of a free-market, capitalist system.

What is it going to take to open our eyes to the way of the world?—that psychopathic behaviors are the foundation stones of our competitive, profit-obsessed, economic system?

Do these words ring a bell of memory, “You can buy anything in this world with money”? Does that include the "souls of men"?⁴

What will a psychopathic Lucifer not inspire in his quest to destroy the world?⁵

What better way to destroy families than to stress them to the breaking point, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually with deliberately injured/damaged children?

Could this 1839 directive also be applicable to the evils of our day?

It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and children, who have been made to bow down with grief, sorrow, and care, under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression, supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which hath so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers, who have inherited lies, upon the hearts of the children, and filled the world with confusion, and has been growing stronger and stronger, and is now the very mainspring of all corruption, and the whole earth groans under the weight of its iniquity. Please let us not be dissuaded from watching Vaxxed. Let us use wisdom and discernment and decide for ourselves who and what is credible.

Consolation?

Lately, there seem to be many people agonizing over the deceptions that they feel loved ones are falling victim to; and they may, in many instances, be right, but if this warning is accurate:

For in those days there shall also arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch, that, if possible, they shall deceive the very elect, who are the elect according to the covenant,¹

perhaps we should be as ready to examine our own traditions and expectations, and not be so convinced that we, personally, cannot and will not be amongst the deceived.

So IF, in coming days, many of us find ourselves deceived—being blind and deaf in some degree or other—here are three verses of possible consolation (bold emphasis added):

Behold, verily I say unto you, there are hypocrites among you, who have deceived some, which has given the adversary power; but behold such shall be reclaimed; (Doctrine and Covenants 50:7)

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. (Old Testament | Isaiah 35:5)

And when thy people transgress, any of them, they may speedily repent and return unto thee, and find favor in thy sight, and be restored to the blessings which thou hast ordained to be poured out upon those who shall reverence thee in thy house. (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 109:21)

How to Save Everyone?

Before the creation of this world, we understand that there was a pre-mortal council where the Father's plan received some offer of correction by one called Lucifer. Lucifer apparently offered to save everyone so that “not one soul shall be lost”¹ whereas the Father's plan contained a risk (via moral agency) that some would fail the plan for progression. Typically, we have seemed to think that the adversary (of God's plan of agency) meant to compel everyone to obey God's rules or, at least, to do and be good, but as the frequent fate of mortal tyrants² should have taught us—force requires a vast army of enforcers and considerable risk of rebellion and coup. Even with propaganda, bullying, trauma-based mind control, medications, implants, and other technologies, individual will remains a volatile factor. This is not to say that psychopaths might not imagine total control is in their power, but perhaps there are other less onerous schemes that Lucifer might have imagined to save everyone.

Here are two possibilities:

   1) Do away with Law

Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. (New Testament | Romans 4:15)

... sin is not imputed when there is no law. (New Testament | Romans 5:13)

Wherefore, he has given a law; and where there is no law given there is no punishment; and where there is no punishment there is no condemnation; and where there is no condemnation the mercies of the Holy One of Israel have claim upon them, because of the atonement; for they are delivered by the power of him. (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 9:25)

Now, how could a man repent except he should sin? How could he sin if there was no law? How could there be a law save there was a punishment? (Book of Mormon | Alma 42:17)

Now, if there was no law given—if a man murdered he should die—would he be afraid he would die if he should murder? And also, if there was no law given against sin men would not be afraid to sin. And if there was no law given, if men sinned what could justice do, or mercy either, for they would have no claim upon the creature? (Book of Mormon | Alma 42:19-21)

And then shall the heathen nations be redeemed, and they that knew no law shall have part in the first resurrection; and it shall be tolerable for them. (Doctrine and Covenants 45:54)

For behold that all little children are alive in Christ, and also all they that are without the law. For the power of redemption cometh on all them that have no law; wherefore, he that is not condemned, or he that is under no condemnation, cannot repent; and unto such baptism availeth nothing— (Book of Mormon | Moroni 8:22)

   2) Endless Re-Cycling

In this “salvation,” all the failures must repeat the test until they finally get it right. In short, re-incarnate until one is worthy to be saved. It might take forever, but if time is not an issue or a pressure, then theoretically everyone could be saved given enough endless “time.” This seems to be one of the teachings of the “Ascended Masters”³ that many new- and old-age mystics encounter during meditations and seeking experiences. For example:

In the Ascended Master Teachings, Ascended Masters are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnation were ordinary humans, but who have undergone a series of spiritual transformations originally called initiations. ... ¶¶ It is believed [by whom?] that Ascended Masters are individuals who were formerly embodied on the Earth and learned the lessons of life during their incarnations. They gained mastery over the limitations of the matter planes, balanced at least 51% of negative karma, and fulfilled their Dharma (divine plan). An Ascended Master, in such an understanding, has become God-like and a source of unconditional "Divine Love" to all life, and through the Ascension has united with his or her own "God Self," the "I AM Presence." ¶ It is further claimed by various groups and teachers that the Ascended Masters serve as the teachers of mankind from the realms of Spirit, and that all people will eventually attain their Ascension and move forward in spiritual evolution beyond this planet. According to these teachings, they remain attentive to the spiritual needs of humanity, and act to inspire and motivate its spiritual growth.⁴

Note the belief “that all people eventually attain their Ascension and move forward in spiritual evolution.”

So what do we make of all this similarity and co-opting/tweaking by the adversary of spiritual truths? How do we discern between the teachings of ascended masters / light workers and the Holy Ghost and true messengers?

And what do the scriptures say about everyone being saved? Don't they tell us that everyone can be if they will repent and do the will of God, but that many will not and will thus be judged and rewarded according to the things that they were willing to receive?

And they who remain shall also be quickened; nevertheless, they shall return again to their own place, to enjoy that which they are willing to receive, because they were not willing to enjoy that which they might have received. (Doctrine and Covenants 88:32)

So once again, I find myself uneasy with the salvation concepts of Denver Snuffer—with the required cycling to attain to the “prototype of the saved man.” I don't think such cycling is supported in scripture or in Joseph's words—not even the King Follet discourse. This cycling concept reminds me too much of some of the teachings of those alleged “ascended masters.” I do not yet know enough to judge Snuffer's experiences, but I feel an uneasiness about his cycling/re-cycling teachings.⁵
